Cooper's checking in to see where his forever home is at.

Cooper is 14 years old and looking for a quiet home to live out his days. Cooper is crate trained, housebroken, good with other dogs and cats. Cooper still has some limited vision, but his hearing is not the best. Cooper enjoys short walks and some time outdoors, then nothing better than a good blanket to snuggle. "The prevailing thought is that black dogs are harder to place in homes, a trend known as Black Dog Syndrome or BDS. Although some studies have disputed this phenomenon, rescues, shelter workers, and animal advocates claim to have witnessed Black Dog Syndrome first-hand. The commonly held belief is that black dogs (especially large ones) tend to stay at a shelter longer than other dogs...."

With that being said meet Opal. Unfortunately, Opal has been with us since she was 5 weeks old and continues to wait...
Opal is very smart, yr old terrier mix who is good with other dogs, cats, kids 15+, crate trained and housebroken. She continues to do great learning basic commands.

Griffin is wondering where all his Boxer loving families are..
Griffin is house broken,crate trained and loves doggie daycare! He is good with other dogs and cats!! Griffin does good with kids but as a wiggley active young Boxer, we are saying kids 15+ for this boy. Griffin would love to have a fenced in yard or someone who is experienced with the Boxer breed!
