Here’s a few things you can add to your dogs kibble if you don’t feed your dog a raw diet!

THIS. It makes me cringe seeing videos of kids climbing all over a dog or pulling at their ears, tails etc. PLEASE teach your kids that dogs need their own personal space and that they need to respect that at all times. It doesn’t matter how behaved a dog is. They can snap at anytime, no matter if they ever have or not.

Not exactly true. Modoc is 7 years old and has been raised around kids and to not be food or toy aggressive. Harrison is being raised to be respectful to animals.

BUT Modoc is a dog and Harrison is a baby.

Babies need to be at all times around dogs, and not just watched. People need to understand a dog’s stress signals.

Modoc is a great dog but Harrison also isn’t allowed to on or the dogs, he’s not allowed to play with their or , he is not allowed near their ever and not allowed around them when they are .

My dogs are not expected to tolerate being annoyed. I can tell you from experience that EVERY DOG HAS A BREAKING POINT, and every dog WILL bite.

Things are moving right along with my future DREAM business! It still feels like a literal dream! We are hard at work making everything top notch for our future pups that stay with us ♥️🐾

Happy Sunday 🫶🏼🐾 I thought I’d share some recent pics of my pack & update you guys on a few things.

Life has been crazy but in the best possible way! We have been very busy working on growing our business with real estate along with some VERY exciting other (dog related) projects that I CAN NOT wait to share with you all later this year 😁🫢

I am also getting many messages on when my next litter will be. To answer that question, it will not be anytime soon so I am currently not putting anyone else down on a waiting list. Once life is a little less hectic, I am hoping to move forward with planning a litter then!

This is an informative post I made a couple years ago that talks about tips on managing a multi-dog household. I thought it was good enough to share again.

How to manage a multi-dog household is this weeks topic.

I know a lot of us are “dog crazy” and have multiple pups in the house. Without the proper knowledge & training, it can be chaotic at times. In this post I will explain ways to help minimize the chaos of owning multiple dogs under 1 roof: 👇🏼

- Feed each dog separately during feeding time. This could mean in crates, in opposite corners of the room, in different rooms etc. Dogs can get extremely aggressive and territorial over their food, so this is an important one. Never feed two dogs close to each other. Always supervise dogs during feeding time.

- Make training & exercise a top priority. The more dogs you have, the more important it is that all of the dogs are well-trained & behaved. Train each dog separately in the beginning. Once you have worked with each dog and you are confident they are well-trained, you can start doing training sessions with more than one dog.

- Manage toys/bones/treats. I’m personally not a fan of having 24/7 free access of toys in the house with multiple dogs. This only causes more opportunity for aggression and jealousy over a certain toy. Dogs are like toddlers, one gets a toy and the rest want the same one🤦🏻‍♀️We have set times during the day where they get to play, but not 24/7. They know when it’s time to play and when it’s time to chill.

- Have a consistent sleeping routine. I’m a big fan of crates especially for bedtime. My guest bedroom is filled with 3 XXL crates where three of my dogs sleep at night. They love their crates. Two other dogs have dog beds in our bedroom that they sleep on. It’s very important to have a good bedtime routine down in order to avoid chaos throughout the night and so you can get a good nights rest.

- Be aware of things like SSA (same s*x aggression) and littermate syndrome before adding another pup to the family. Never do I recommend brothers/sisters out of the same litter. Some get along fine but some do not AT ALL. I also never recommend two intact males/females living under the same roof UNLESS you are fully capable of what can come along with this and you’re fully prepared to handle a situation if things get ugly. Both of these are real and can happen

- Do your research and make sure you can handle AND afford another dog BEFORE adding another to the family.
