Gucci 💕
7 month old Westie

Gucci was here for her 3 week Stay and Train! While she was here she built a ton of confidence. She learned out to navigate life in the real world, have a calm mindset in the house but also in her kennel. We also worked really hard on her potty/poop training…iykyk 😜

She wasn’t horrible on a leash when she checked in so we tightened that up and she learned how to live that off leash life! She now gets to run with the big boys (her brothers Louis and Rocco). She also gets to be the best breakfast date and car ride buddy for her mom!

She so sweet but also feisty at times but we love her!
We can’t wait to have her back for boarding!

Haven 💜
7 month old Cavachon

Haven joined us for her 3 week Stay and Train program! You probably saw her around here prior to her full program, she boarded here quite a few times so that we could help keep up with the with potty training and kennel training alongside her parents.

This little spitfire was pretty darn confident from day one but of course I challenged her a bit while she was here. She also learned how to walk nicely on a leash, stay on place for more than 2 seconds and she gained the skills to keep herself together around other dogs and people in public.

She’s so sweet and we can’t wait to host her when her family travels in the future.

Cholley 🖤
5 year old Standard Aussie

Cholley came in jam packed with “stuff” we had 6 weeks to unpack and rewire. Dude has bitten humans and dogs - we counted on his go home day close to 20 bites. His family was ready to take their life back and get him the help they knew he needed.

They live in our neighborhood so his family had been watching my dad walk our OG dogs, Yankee and Cinder (Twelve18Ten) for years and then watched from a far as we built this little business and saw results that they wanted for their dog.

In all transparency, Cholley has cost his parents close to $10,000 if not more now that I think about it. Oh and he had cost them a lot of heartache. I was his 3rd training program and final option.

He came to me knowing all of his obedience. But just like I always say, obedience doesn’t matter if the mind isn’t in the right place. Cholley’s relationship with his dad was very toxic, his dad knew investing in my program meant that he had to change his mindset of how he was going to continue raising this dog. A lot of Cholley’s behavioral issues were centered around resource guarding dad and resource guarding food.

He also doesn’t love other dogs in his space and that’s fine but I had to show him that it was inappropriate to react the way he did when he would see another dog. I also taught him how to coexist with other dogs, create space and trust the human to guide him and have his best interest at heart.

I give his parents props, they tried and they did their best with the info the other trainers gave them. Once we met and they agreed to work with me, they implemented everything I asked of them.

One of the best perks of all of this is they can travel now because Cholley gets to come back for boarding! 🎉

I can’t wait to watch their new journey unfold!

Juniper 💜
5 year old Standard Aussie

Juniper was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program along side her littermate Cholley. They don’t live together full time but they share space often enough that it was important to their families to have them both trained so they are on the same page with expectations in the house and on walks together.

Juniper didn’t bring any serious behavioral issues to the table. We did work on her impulsiveness, demand barking in the kennel and jumping on people. She also recently was in a car accident with her mom so she worked on car anxiety as well. Her prey drive gets the best of her sometimes including becoming obsessive when flies are buzzing around so we worked on that too.

She knew all her obedience when she got here but her state of mind wasn’t in the right place so we worked hard on slowing her brain down. She was pretty darn confident but we did work through some hard things.

Overall she was a joy to work with and I can’t wait to have her back for boarding in the future!

Penny 💗
7 month old Mini Goldendoodle

Penny was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program! Her parents were so proactive about raising her. They reached out before she came home from the breeder, we met and went over all the expectations of raising a puppy and they followed all my recommendations. Were there messy parts, absolutely, but they did their best and reached out when they needed help! Penny was a here a few times for boarding before her training program so she was familiar with me and my house along with the expectations/routine.

The only behavioral issue she came with was resource guarding her food/high value treats. We worked hard on that during her stay and I helped her change her mindset about resources.

Other than that she learned an advanced level of a balanced life - structure and freedom. She learned that the structure leads to freedom so we can have fun together. No more jumping on people, demanding attention but taking affection calmly and on the humans terms.

We built her confidence in everything we did. She truly will be the “everywhere dog” for her family!

I can’t wait for her to be back for boarding so we can have more fun!

Jax 🖤
4 year old mixed breed

Jax joined us for our Stay and Train program - he spent 5 weeks here as he came in jam packed with “stuff”.

What I discovered about Jax over our 5 weeks together is that he was very insecure and he thrives on structure! He needs a strong leader to show him he can do hard things but also a strong leader that isn’t going to let him get away with the things he “doesn’t want to do”.

He bullied his mom to the point she was scared of him! She decided she wanted to live an enjoyable life with him.

Jax is so much more soft now, willing to take direction and he even gives effort with the hard things.

A few goals we accomplished:
✨coming and going from the kennel and no breaking out
✨tolerating getting his nails dremeled
✨tolerating getting a bath
✨calmer mindset in the car, able to hold a down to regulate his nervous system
✨relax on place and not lose it when guests come over
✨he’s able to go out in public now - he doesn’t love it but he can do it

I’m so proud of how far he’s come and I can’t wait to have him back for boarding.

11 month old Saint Berdoodle

Loki was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program! He’s a big goofy guy and a joy to have around.
Even though he’s big, he lacked some confidence so we worked hard on building it up. His recall was nonexistent and now he recalls immediately!

He didn’t have any behavioral issues but had some puppy behaviors we needed to grow out of. He’s a mouthy guy so I disagreed with him using it as play with a human arm and demanding attention.

I can’t wait to watch his progress back home and I’m excited to have him back for boarding as well!

✨ HOMEWORK ✨

Homework!? Yup, that’s right…your dog is doing work while they are here so you have to also!

Six months ago I started implementing homework in my training program and it’s been a huge hit so it’s sticking around!

When you train with us, on drop off day you will be given a book to read written by and a loner remote for the system your dog will be going home with along with 3 packets - one is a reading schedule for the book, the other are the exercises you’ll be doing with the ecollar remote each day and the last one is the quiz you will bring with you to our mid-program session.

You will also receive an email with my At Home Guide to read and refer back to post training!

7 month Mini Goldendoodle

Goldie was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program. She had zero behavioral issues, her family just wanted the foundation laid so they can enjoy her to the fullest. She’s still her spunky self with the availability to settle on command. She’s now enjoying off leash hikes and hangs in the front yard with her family which were two of their main goals.

She is also going to be starting her journey of becoming a therapy dog this Fall!

6 month old Golden Retriever

Biscuit was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program. He’s definitely a lover but he came in pretty insecure. I’m proud of him on all the progress he made while he was here. From not wanting to jump in and out of a vehicle to being able to do it like a champ and with the most proud disposition. Walking by stationary objects freaked him out most times so we worked through every situation that came our way.

He’s a smart dude, probably one of the smartest dogs I’ve worked with in a while. Like show him it once and he’s got it down forever.

6 month old Doberman mix

Smokie was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program. He came in hot but left a softer version of himself. He’s a tough dog but he has owners that are dedicated to him and are willing to put in the work.

He’s a smart guy, he picked up what I was throwing down from day one but his attitude and pushiness would get the best of him sometimes 😜

He was challenging but fun and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for his family with him.

1 year old Chocolate English Lab

Luke was here for our 3 week Stay and Train program. Dude came in guns blazin and left a more soft gentleman! He didn’t have any behavioral issues, just needed a new set of manners and an off switch. Oh, and his mom really didn’t want to be pulled down the street anymore on their walks together. We accomplished all of that and more. He might be a big dude that came in guns blazin but there was definitely room for confidence building while he was here.

Be good buddy, we’ll miss you!

5 year old Goldendoodle

Binder was here with his housemate Bailey so they could be on the same page with training as a lifestyle. Binder has zero behavioral issues but dude could pull on the leash, he is strong! He had also been doing things as an only child for a while so it was time to learn a few manners to share his space with Bailey and allow his family to enjoy life with both of them.

We reintroduced the kennel to him after a few years so that he can have a calm state of mind and avoid any old habits when his family is away from the home and he can get a good nights sleep every night.

I loved working with him and I can’t wait to have him back for boarding very soon!

Bailey spent 3 weeks here learning how to be the best pup for her family. She doesn’t have any behavioral issues just typical puppy things. She’s definitely going home a more confident version of herself and comfortable in her own skin.

I can’t wait for her to enjoy life with her family and her Goldendoodle brother, Binder!

Cali spent 3 weeks here tightening up the obedience command she already knew and applying duration to them like “sit”, “down” and “place”. I showed her a new meaning for the place command…calm and meditation not just a place to jump on and chomp at the bit to get off.

We worked through some times of anxiety and she and her dad got some times to reset their relationship. She learned how to trust her handler so she can regulate her body to avoid having anxiety like in the car and in the kennel.

She became a more confident version of herself while she was here and I can’t wait to watch her progress with her dad!

2 year old Boxer/Bull Dog

Booker spent 3 weeks with us learning all things, slow down. Dude is pushy and will do anything to accomplish what he has his mind set on. All his mom wants to do is be able to walk going without pulling her down the street…we accomplished that and so much more!

He can now hang out on place when family is over like the small grandkids who Booker loves but his energy around them is too much. His new job, coexist calmly on place. No more running into the sliding glass door when he wants to come in from being out back 😂

We conquered the treadmill and put up with 5 mail sessions to get his nails to a comfortable length.

He is definitely going to push the boundaries back at the “fun house” but I know his parents are dedicated to make it happen. I can’t wait to watch their journey unfold.

2.5 Cocker Spaniel/AmStaff Mix

Molly spent 3 weeks with us learning all things manners and calm. She didn’t show me a ton of reactivity but I knew it was in there because I saw it when I visited her at her house before she came for training. We spent a lot of time coexisting around other dogs, showing her that she can trust humans to advocate for her and what to do when she encounters a dog she “doesn’t like”.

She showed me quite a bit of anxiety when she first arrived so naturally, by providing her a calm environment and giving her a job to do and providing structure, boundaries and consistency her anxiety melted away each day.

Her parents are dedicated to her new lifestyle and I’m so excited to watch their journey. No more doggy day care for Molly because they can enjoy her to their full potential!

Mini Bernedoodle

Gracie was here for 2 weeks for our puppy foundation program! She spent two weeks learning a new schedule and routine which consisted of lot of boundaries and structure. She learned that the world doesn’t revolve around her and that we don’t go go go all the time. We showed her calm happens before and after play time. She’s a sweet but sassy one!

We can’t wait to have her back for her full training program in a couple of months!
