Ok so, I am having another surgery.

This time it's a little more major and I will be taking 3 weeks off. My last day at the shop will be August 8th.
Madisyn will also be leaving to go back to school during some of the time I am gone 😢

I will be reaching out to everyone in the next few days to talk about rescheduling if your appointment falls in that time frame!

Because I feel like a lot of you are extended family and friends, I want to let you know that I am ok. I have been working for months on being approved for gastric bypass and the time has finally come!

I am extremely excited about this opportunity and I thank everyone for their patience and support!

I LOVE trying new dog products.... my very very large goldendoodle loves to run. And he has always been good about riding beside me on my bike. I wanted something a little safer then just holding the leash.

I liked the fact that this rotated around the bike so when I take my little Goldendoodle she isn't trying to go in my wheel. This also has a awesome quick connect bar and shock absorber... that maybe doesn't work so well for my giant dog 🤣

Moose was doing sooo well! But he is a creature of habit and we always ride on the side walk. Tonight I thought we should try the road. We took a right and he tried to dash to the side walk. He followed me and everything was fine. We were riding like the wind again! Then we pass a driveway the of course leads to a sidewalk.... Moose darted towards it and there was no coming back from it.

But all that fun stuff aside it seems like an awesome product!!!

I am 100% into sanitizing everything! I am also insanely forgetful.

I started filling this garbage can up to clean it and I thought to myself "ok I will run and do laundry and come riget back to turn off the water". 🤦‍♀️

Clearly that was a lie. 😂 but this picture explains my life... My bucket is always full and I am flighty...

My point to this is.... if I forget to respond and it's monday-friday please send me a message the next day. Chances are I looked at my phone and told myself I would respond later but ended up seeing something Shiney 💎 and forgot. It's really just many parts of my beaming personality 🤣🤣🤣

I may need to bring in a sump pump to empty it.

Let's talk about this for a minute....

Say your pup comes in with something like - really bad arthritis, collapsed trachea, enlarged heart, epilepsy, ptsd from whatever situation happened that made them reactive.

📢📢WE WILL NOT PUSH YOUR PET!!📢📢

I understand that paying for a service that cannot be completed in it's entirety is annoying. But your pets life is absolutely valuable to us. We are there to look out for their best interests at ALL TIMES.

A lot of times I offer side training.... for FREE....to help make the grooming process easier. But without the help of the owner, training your pup once every 6-12 weeks is not enough.

If you want your dog to look amazing, we need your help. I am huge on teamwork at home as well as in the salon. It takes a team to train fear out of a dog. Even if you watch anything like "Dog Whisperer" the owners are essentially the ones that make or break how the dogs behavior continues at home.

Please be as kind and patient with us as we have been with your previous pups.

I have some dog bows I will be adding tor sale at the shop starting Tuesday. But I wanted to point this one out specifically.

On Memorial day Cub Scouts in Mitchell participated in a flag retirement ceremony. The flags were retired by burning. I was given the grommets from the flags thay were burnt to make some memorabilia for our scouts.

I have a lot of them and thought this might be a special addition to dog bows for some customers. I know these will be very special in my heart 🇺🇸❤️

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Madisyn Sheesley! She has been training all of about 5 days total and she did AMAZING on her grandma's Yorkie! We have a little bit more to work on with the face but that will come with time!

Thank you everyone who has sent a text today!

Surgery went flawlessly. I struggled a bit in recovery with my oxygen dropping really low.

We are on our way back home 🙂

If you are looking to book an appointment I plan to start doing book work on Thursday. If you don't hear back from me until then I promise I am not ignoring you, I am just resting. 😊
