BEEBER YORKIE AND POMERANIAN was started over 10 years ago as a passion of love for puppies. Through lots of experience, we have become experts at breeding the highest quality show and champion level Yorkies and Pomeranians.
Unlike puppy mills and middlemen, we take pride in breeding our own puppies in a huge 3 acre ranch. It all starts with identifying and breeding only the healthiest and best looking parents. To do that, we first select parents which have had no genetic or health defects for at least 2 generations. Then, we select only champion and show-level quality parents to breed. We only breed our dams (mothers) a maximum of 3 times in their lifetimes to avoid negative health effects due to repeated stress on their bodies.
Once puppies are born, they start off living with their parents, and are eventually moved into their own playpens inside our home. To ensure the puppies remain healthy after they wean off their mother’s milk, we feed them quality organic puppy food with multivitamin supplements, and start their vaccinations so the puppies can quickly become immune to deadly diseases such as distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, leptospirosis, and rabies.
We also socialize our puppies to ensure they don’t end up with behavioral problems, which can have devastating effects later. We take our puppies outside at least three times a day into our yard or to the park so they can play and socialize with people and interact with different environments and stimuli. We also handle them often so they are always comfortable with people.
