Wishlist! Could really use more food, paper towels, the no knuckle socks are expensive I know, but they are essential to keep him from walking on his wrists:( and the bed for Pocket. Purina pro plan for fosters not needing special food. TYIA this is all getting very expensive. 😅
Hi guys!! Just Tilo checking in. We have some things on the horizon for him! Stay tuned !

Wishlist above! The chicken food and scale are the most needed. If I can carefully track Tilo’s weight we will know if the combination of steroid and probiotic is healing his condition. He is so emaciated and eats an incredible amount, his lack of ability to absorb is the root cause of his brain inflammatory condition. By adding a medical grade probiotic we can hopefully reverse the damage to his gut, unclogging the lymphatic system. His physical and neurological deficits will be a very slow process of improvement. The way to know if this is working is if he is finally able to gain weight.
So far he is hungry, vocal, engaged. Clearly improving, we want to make sure we are on an upswing. Thank you everyone for your support. I know this little guys needs are expensive, but all neccesary to save his life. Right now, he cannot walk, not only because he is weak but he also has pressure on his brain causing him to be very uncoordinated. We are attacking both with all we’ve got! Who wants to see this little guy run ? I know I do!
Since this little guy is feeling much better I discovered his near OCD violent love for chicken 😂Since adding the probiotic and removing that awful debilitating secondary drug he was on, it’s like his body has realized what it’s been missing. He is so hungry. He will eat his food right up but will literally do anything for chicken. Tilos issues are both neurological in his brain and a completely depleted body, he has no fat, no muscle, his ligaments in his wrists are over stretched.
Before learning to walk, he must understand how to stand. Creating awareness of his body as a whole putting him in proper position. Retraining the brain.
I removed the front wheels to his cart. Right now standing is the most important thing for him to do both physically and neurologically. He has no idea how to walk, or which direction his legs go. Persistence, consistency, patience. As his brain and body both heal we need to push him past his limits. He’s afraid when I put him in a sit, it’s like everything normal feels so awkward to him.
This will be my biggest challenge yet in my career. If this puppy walks on his own someday...correction- WHEN he walks, it will be the greatest moment of my lifetime.

Since we got rid of that awful medication, things have been better. His probiotic comes tommorrow and I cannot wait to get started!
Tilo has been eating great, which makes me feel better, however with no flora he cannot absorb it. The recommended probiotic for his very serious deficit with hopefully arrive tomorrow. This is our morning routine, I warm up his fluids and insert 100cc for the day. Staying hydrated is so important to keep the systems moving. He has not pooped in days. Not sure why but he must be uncomfortable by now. He becomes much calmer in his cart, getting some balance and equilibrium helps him cognitively. His head remains steady, and he’s over all less frustrated with his body that just isn’t capable of cooperating with him right now. He’s actually falling asleep, I dont think he slept all
Night with all these storms. The pressure system affects neurological imbalances. This puppy has been through so so much. His higher power chose me to save him. So that’s what I’m going to do.
