🐾Every year we take a moment to reflect on our year of lifesaving work. As the year closes we would like to share some “Where are they now?” photos with you.

🐾 Each dog who gets adopted through NELR is featured on our social media platforms. That’s where they get their applications to be reviewed, their posts get likes 👍🏻, love ❤️ and shares. Some are even featured in our fundraising efforts to support our mission. All of these are lifesaving actions that make a difference. They allow us to continue to save as many lives as possible and we truly appreciate your support!

We are looking for 100 outdoor community cats living in Greenville County to spay and neuter....for FREE! That's right! The Feline Fix is a FREE TNR (trap-neuter-return) event happening Saturday, November 18th at Greenville County Animal Care's Clinic. This is a first-come, first-served special so arrive early! Gate opens at 8am and will close at 10am. Participating cats are required to be in a humane live trap. Max 4 community cats per vehicle. All cats will be spayed/neutered, ear-tipped, and vaccinated. No other medical services will be offered (No Felv/FIV testing). Come be a part of this incredible event and help us reduce the population of community cats in Greenville County! Questions can be emailed to [email protected]. NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY.

Today, we received some much appreciated recognition.

Thanks to an incredibly dedicated team, a focused board of directors, caring volunteers and generous supporters, we have once again achieved no kill status. As an open admission animal shelter with agreements with Georgetown County and City to take in each and every animal that enters our doors with a Humane Officer regardless of behavior, breed or medical condition we have been able to find positive outcomes for more than 90% of our animals in 2022. We are proud of our work in making a difference to the abused, neglected and homeless animals of Georgetown County and beyond. Thank you all for your support in helping us meet our mission.
