I had the pleasure of working with this sweet girl and her family last weekend and what an absolute blast! Such a smart little cookie.

Miss Punkin has a little trust problem with new people and a few other issues but that is the biggest. Within 15 minutes of me being there she was nudging my hands and rolling her body against me asking to be petted ♥️ We became instant buddies, she even rolled over to give me her belly and that is the highest compliment! Sometimes your unsocial dog is not actually unsocial...we as humans are just missing their cues for communication and therefore a breakdown in trust happens. If they follow my advice she will slowly bloom into the social butterfly she's meant to be.

Wanna know if a trainer/behaviorist is worth their salt? Ask to meet their personal dog 🙂😉😉 Chyna used to guard her food and toys and climb walls to get away from strangers. Today she is a completely different dog than the one I adopted and she now gets bummed when strangers don't acknowledge her 😆 It's not "all how you raise them". Need behavior help for your pup? I cannot stress this enough....PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME TONIGHT FOR THE FIREWORKS!!! Do as I say not as I do 😂 That being said, I have to take a minute to toot toot toot this girl's horn ♥️ We did not intend to land ourselves in the loudest neighborhood possible after a trip to the river yesterday...but she did absolutely phenomenal! This is the result of a serious trust bond and a little desensitization work. I repeat...PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DOGS SAFE AT HOME TONIGHT! More pets go missing tonight than any other night of the year! I know my girl well and if she bolted anywhere it would be between my legs.
