Many things to be thankful for this year. What a great way to end the 2023 year with training with some amazing handlers and dogs. I've been able to be up at Placer several times the last few months, and it is so cool to see the growth and excitement from the handlers.

Thankful for all the opportunities 2023 has given me, super excited for what is in store for 2024. Happy training!

Here is a good and easy way to introduce trimming your dog's nails! We are using marker words (commands) to help overcome Rupert's fear of his nails being trimmed. This is a safe way to trim his nails, especially since he has already nipped during a previous nail trimming experience!

Keith is a National Level Helper who just returned from being the front-half helper at both the AWMA Nationals and the USCA IGP3 Championships. He can help bring out the best in your dog.

Our very first post 😭 I really can’t believe this day is here.
We did it, baby! (thanks to my husband Marko for always working and supporting us like a crazy person 🤣)
Over 3 years in the making, finally good enough to open our doors and show you what we’ve been up to. I know there are so many of you like me. We want to have fun training our dogs and do life with them. Whether you’re a or a weekend warrior, we share the common love of taking our dogs on our crazy expeditions, in search of new experiences for both us and our k9 ride or dies. Because we know no matter what, they’re always happy to get out there.

Since I was a kid, I lived and breathed animals, mostly dogs. As I broke into adulthood, that mindset only became stronger. My dogs have gone through painful break ups with me, been homeless with me, been by my side through all of life’s relentless curve balls. Those never stop but then again neither does a dog’s love. It’s always there, always constant. Cheers to dogs, who’ve been the reason for my existence 🍻 And welcome, officially, to Pup Sees World.

Now open for non-member sign up -- Protection Training with 2023 AWMA National Helper Keith Bendixen!

November 11-12 at the Placer County Schutzhund Club field. There are a few spaces open on Saturday afternoon (1-5), Sunday morning (8-Noon) and Sunday afternoon (1-5).

This is workshop style training. One group in the morning, a different group in the afternoon. Your dog gets worked twice during the group. Non-refundable pre-payment is required for non-club members. Non-member fee: $90 per day.

Hey all!

For those who have expressed interest in training, I will be up at Placer County Schutzhund Club this weekend (21st and 22nd) for training. We are doing workshop style, where each handler will get two protection sessions. There also will be two groups (AM/PM). If you have done this style in the past, it is a great way to accomplish a lot in your training in a short amount of time.

Wanted to update some of y'all on the life changes going on!
Almost 3 months ago, I made the crazy decision to leave my career and resign from Law Enforcement. After 8 years of service, it was by far the hardest decision I have ever made. I was so fortunate to work for two outstanding departments, with some of the best men and women in the country. I am so grateful to the many friends and mentors I made working in LE and will always remember the good times we had.

I started a dog training company with my wife, Kelsey Bendixen. I had been toying with the idea a little over a year ago, and started Keith's K9 Training just to see how it went. I was able to get connected with some amazing business entrepreneurs and went into it not knowing what in the world to do. Over the past year, I was able to dive deep into how to run a business and what a learning curve it was!

Fast forward to today, I want to formally introduce our new dog training company called Inclined Canine Academy. It's been a crazy 2 months since starting, but it is so cool to see it growing. Our 1st month we were just shy of being booked to capacity, and we are on our way this month for being completely full. This wouldn't be possible without our team helping out in the day-to-day operations, and I am so blessed to have them! We currently have 3 employees and hoping to continue growing and scaling in the next several months.

This would not have been possible without the help of Louie Torres and Unleashed Consulting. Thank you guys so much for all your help, mentoring, zoom calls, emails, etc. It's crazy to think that 3 months ago I was working a "9 to 5" job, and now I am running my own business! Y'all rock!

I can't thank Kelsey Bendixen enough for believing in me and trusting me in this endeavor. It is a huge risk to leave a career, especially in today's age, but she supports me 100%.

Thank you Brent Cooper for being, IMO, one of the best dog trainers on the planet. You have taught me so much over the past 10 years, I cannot thank you enough!

Very excited for the future and to be able to provide a quality training service in my area. Time to ruffle some feathers!

Happy 4th everyone! We had a great time running the 5K for the Morgan Hill . Followed by taking the dogs downtown to enjoy the parade! Stay safe out there 🇺🇸

What a crazy month of traveling. Two weekends in Oregon for Helper Camp, Camp Canemo and then a few days on the east coast. Thank you so much Marko Sakari Koskensalo , Sarah Prelle, Tim Cutterson, and Melanie Krüger for the great weekends of training, Kelsey Bendixen and I had an absolute blast! It also was such a cool opportunity to go to Maryland and meet a bunch of awesome people and dogs. Was an amazing experience getting to work some of our country's best as they prep for worlds. Thank you guys for your hospitality and I hope to be back out there training with you guys soon!

3 years ago, I went out to a local dog club to help my wife with training. I met with Dave, and had the idea of becoming a "National Level Helper." I was so fortunate to have the best coach/mentor possible who pushed me and believed that I could do it. Over these 3 years, I have then met so many talented dog trainers/helpers who have given me honest criticism and feedback that has made me a better helper.

Thanks to everyone who have made this journey possible. Was a such a cool feeling to get the classification at my home club as well as with my mentor. "Keep chopping wood!" - David Deleissegues
