Basanti (wearing the bowtie named after her!) and her sweet brother Toby. In August 2019, we flew to New Delhi, India to help Basanti's family safely bring her home.
Basanti was rescued from the mountains outside of Rishikesh as a puppy. She then stayed at a yoga studio for a month, got her first round of vaccines, and fell in love with her soon-to-be family who was living in India for a month.
She wasn't ready to travel by the time her family had to leave (needed additional vaccines and had to be 4months old before entering the USA), so we offered to fly over and get her.
With the help of local animal rescuers and kind government and animal welfare officials, We were able to fly Basanti home to her family in Atlanta 💚
Purchases help payoff our rescue dog expenses and will allow us to continue with future rescues. 🌱
