**Meet some of our WCAC Alums!** 🌟
Join Cadence, a WCAC alum, and her friends, real shelter dogs from middle Tennessee, including other WCAC alumni, as they embark on a journey to educate young minds about basic animal welfare and the humane treatment of dogs. This valuable resource is being offered at a low price to make it accessible to our community. Plus, every purchase supports CASA Transport, helping more animals find loving homes. 🐶📚
It’s a great gift for kids or their teachers.

🚨 October is Happy Black Cat Awareness Month! 🐈‍⬛

Black cats are more than just cool-looking—they’ve got some awesome traits that set them apart. But did you know that Black kitties have the lowest adoption rates, all because of some silly superstitions?

Check out a few fun facts about these shadowy little legends:

1️⃣ Disease Resistance: Black cats have a genetic mutation that makes them tougher against certain diseases—talk about built-in superpowers.
2️⃣ Eyes That Pop: Their eye colors, like gold or green, look even more intense against that dark fur. It’s like they’re always throwing out serious attitude.
3️⃣ Night Vision Pros: Black cats have killer night vision, making them stealthy hunters and adding to that mysterious, Halloween-ready vibe they’re known for.
4️⃣ Good Luck in Some Cultures: Forget the bad luck myths! In places like Japan and Scotland, black cats are seen as good luck charms.

So this Halloween season, let’s ditch the tired superstitions and show black cats some real love. If you’re thinking of adopting, consider bringing home one of these little shadowy legends. These kitties are friendly, cuddly and might give you a little extra luck.

Do you have a black cat!?
