We are thrilled to welcome, Finn, into our family and program! He flew in from Utah last evening and is settling in very nicely already 💙 He is an AKC sable parti mini poodle that also carries phantom, chocolate and red. After the unfortunate situation with Hudson not passing our required breed specific health testing, we felt like Finn just fell right into our lap and is truly meant to be with us. He is proven and has already had his full Genetic panel, OFA hips, elbow, patella, CAER & cardiac testing. It’s weird how things happen at the perfect time, when you’re least expecting it. I’m already in love with his super sweet personality 🐾

Unfortunately our potential future chocolate phantom merle mini poodle stud did not pass our required health testing. We are super bummed that he will not be a part of our program. This is the hardest part about being a breeder. An ethical breeder will do FULL health testing, not JUST genetic testing (some DNA testing companies also don’t include all required testing in their panels) and sometimes a dog just doesn’t meet breed specific requirements that we aim for 😩 We only want to produce the healthiest pups possible and offer the best for our stud services. Hudson will be living a wonderful pet home life with one of his littermates 💙

Mr. Sheamus will be completing his Brucellosis, PennHip, OFA Elbows & Patella testing this month! OFA Cardiac & CAER testing is scheduled for October 23rd. He is a single curled, fully furnished F1b Mini/Moyen Goldendoodle weighing in at 35lbs and is 19inches tall. He’s 100% genetically clear, including CDPA & CDDY/IVDD. Some women get excited over expensive jewelry or exotic vacations. Me on the other had is screaming with excitement that my Progesterone Machine and centrifuge arrived! 😆 🤷🏼‍♀️ Each year we commit to purchasing one “big” item that will save us time and money in the long run. With our crazy schedules it’s a struggle to take each girl to our vet 2/3 times each cycle or for me to examine cytology slides every day to determine ovulation. Testing helps not miss cycles, missed pregnancies and the best chance at the largest litter possible based off how many eggs the female releases. So it helps out our waiting list families too! Last year it was our Ultrasound machine and as the same with that, we will eventually will be offering progesterone testing with our stud services! Now just patiently waiting for Baylee to start her cycle! ❤️🐾
