Cats need mental and physical stimulation to stay healthy and happy. Try incorporating interactive toys, scratching posts, and climbing trees into your home. Spend at least 10-15 minutes a day engaging in play with your cat to help keep them active and satisfied. 🐱🤍

Hi everyone! Due to the crazy weather and historic rainfalls we are expecting over the next few days, Tues and Weds appointments will be rescheduled to the soonest available. I will play Thurs and Fri by ear (or webbed feet) and will let everyone know if those appts will need to be rescheduled as well! Yall stay safe out there! If you need anything please text me at 8432246776. My cell will not work at my house if we lose power (neither will our water!!) so please be patient if I dont get back to you right away! Now back to gathering chickens and getting the livestock to higher grounds! Country life definitely keeps us on our toes!

Hey everyone! Dont forget to stock up on your pet supplies such as litter, dry and can food, water, small trash bags for dirty litter, medicines, paper plates and bowls for cat food, and get a copy of your pet's medical records! Also if you dont have a carrier, go ahead and get one for future evacuation needs!

So the excitement never ends! Had to go out of town last Thurs and there was a fire right near us at 2am one nite. We got to call 911 and everything and were without power for 7 hours. Luckily I had 2 fireman with me so they were on the ball. Get home Sun nite and started having foot issues. Could barely walk and the pain was horrible. Go to dr this am and was referred to a foot surgeon. (By the way if anyone needs a foot dr please go see Chris Gross with MUSC. He is amazing, funny, super smart and adores his cats!!). Diagnosed with stress fractures and tendonitis. Im in a walking boot for the next 4 weeks. So much fun doing farm chores as Im clod hopping along!
The animals are looking at me like Im a nutcase and are obsessed with sniffing and pawing at the boot! We will be back at work tomorrow and will be working late getting everyone rescheduled I am so sorry for all of this! I hate having to mess yalls schedules up... it makes me so anxious! Please text me at 8432246776 if you havent heard from me by tomorrow nite... Sometimes the mobile scheduling app doesnt work out here in the boonies! Thank yall for everything... We do love yalls babies!!

Dustie Blue is not a fan of my singing apparently!

Dustie Blue loves being sung to by Rita. When I sing to her she pops me in the mouth. With Rita she was all about it!! We may never make it on America's Got Talent with our singing but the cats don't seem to care!

King Louie is getting seranaded to by Rita (owner of Comfy Kitty Cat Boarding) who was helping us out with some grooming!! We were belting out some Journey and Louie was loving it!!! Always having a good time during kitty pampering....that's how we roll!!

MICHELLE JACKSON

When I was 16, I started working in Vet Clinics. It’s been a long career for me, and I have seen all sides of the cat business. I could attempt to sum it up by saying, it’s about the connection between you and the animal.

When I was in pre-veterinarian school at West Virginia University, I learned all about the anatomy of a feline. There are so many different breeds with interesting traits. There are many different diseases that our amazing pets deal with. There is just so much to the subject of cats, that one can easily devote their life to learning all about it. And I have. I really liked learning about these animals and how their bodies worked, how their minds worked.

After my education, I came back to Charleston, and for 6 years I was a vet-tech at Pet Vet. Then, in 1996 I joined Cats Only, where I focused on grooming just cats for the next 20 years!

Through all of that hands on experience, I learned to take full control over the process and make it an amazing experience for the cat. I also learned how to show and explain in simple terms what was going on, so that no owner was uneasy about grooming their loved one.
