It was love at first sight

Say hi to this cutie. We rescued Duke last month, just after Christmas.

Unfortunately Duke (who is now 3 years old) has had a rough history with his past owners 😓 His first owner left the country and left him at the hands of a friend who thought it was only temporary but the original owner never returned 😤 The 2nd owner then gave him up to another owner who neglected Duke because they have 2 other dogs and these dogs beat Duke on the daily 💔 He was only fed carrots! He was 15lbs when a foster mom picked him up from the home with scars and wounds all over his ears and face 😭 A week has gone by and he’s already gained a couple of lbs just being taken out of that awful environment. After a full examination at the vet, happy to report Duke is healthy - he just needs to put on weight.

Hopefully we find him a new loving home soon.
