**Hello to all my old, new, and potential clients!**
I couldn't be more excited about finally being able to continue this venture. Ever since I was a wee one I've always had a fascination and obsession with horses, a passion that I share with all of you! And like any completely insane, horse crazy child; I did anything and everything to get to ride and learn all I could about horses. I spent my first few years of my riding career learning in the craziest way possible, ba****ck on my neighbor's OTTB. As I grew up, changed locations, gained new experiences, and expanded on my knowledge I realized I wanted to do way more than just riding.
So I got with trainers, studied their methods, studied other methods on the internet and in all different varieties of books. I started out of a family owned rescue barn out in Virginia, rehabilitating them and helping them trust again. And once I determined their mental and physical boundaries, I'd start -or in some cases restart- them for riding. I found a different kind of love and happiness in helping them, and corny as it sound I also sort of rescued myself. After a while I made a small name for myself in the county and started getting offers to start their colts and fillies, and that was the start of my former business "Harmonic Connections Equine Services".
From there I turned out barrel/pole horses, trail horses, ranch horses, and even a few ropers. No horse ever had the same methods applied, each training plan was catered to their personalities, discipline, and mental acuity. I took a year off due to a major health scare, and then finally last year achieved every "horse girl's" dream. I got an amazing 3 yr old filly of my own. In the short period of time I've had her (despite our ups and downs) we've each other so many new tricks and built up our confidence together. Which gave me the courage to go back to doing what I love so much. It'll be a slow ride in the beginning, but I'm convinced in time we could all form a wonderful equine family network.
