Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š! I was working in Baiting Hollow with Monica and her Cane Corso named Kya ๐Ÿถ. Kya was struggling to walk correctly on a leash, and was displaying some fear and insecurities. We worked on establishing and strengthening Monicaโ€™s pack leadership which allowed Kya to feel more confident and less fearful while walking๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿถ! Being a strong and confident pack leader is important since our dogs look to us for how they should feel during any situation. Monica and Kya did great ๐Ÿ‘!! Hello everyone โ˜บ๏ธ! I was working in Bellport with Crumbs ๐Ÿถ and his owners. Normally I ask owners to wait until their pup is at least five months old before beginning training, but Crumbs owners wanted to make sure they were doing everything right from the start! It was a fun time and I got lots of love and cuddles from this ten week old Wheaten Terrier ๐Ÿ˜! Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š! I was working in Medford with Gina, who is a volunteer at the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter, as well as her rescue dog named Jenny ๐Ÿถ. Gina adopted Jenny, as well as Jennyโ€™s liter mate brother, so there are two rescue dogs in the house ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ. Jenny was struggling with fear aggression, which when combined with an imbalance in pack structure was leading to a chaotic household! Each time I volunteer, I will be recording and sharing videos of the incredible dogs who are in need of homes! If everyone could please like and share these posts it will be a great blessing for all! The dogs in the videos are at the North Fork Animal Welfare League in either their Southold or Aquebogue locations!
