WOW!!! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped with our donation drive for The Karen's. The amount of donations we received was incredible and that didn't even include all the people that used Amazon and Chewy and shipped directly to them! Thank you, thank you, thank you! After unloading our vehicles and helping load their van, Melanie and Shakyrra led the way to go load our truck up with straw, houses, and our hot meal made special with love! The people we encountered were very thankful and appreciative, but oh my the sweet fur babies were so excited even ecstatic to see that big red van pull up! These women are some of the most caring people that I have ever had the privilege to spend a day with! It didn't matter if the house or animal wasn't on their list. If they saw someone that looked hungry or needed help they sprung into action! Whether it was knocking on new doors, jumping fences, or just an extra bowl of food for the cats circling our feet! They are honestly real life superheros!
Towards the end of our day we were following that red van when it made a quick turn into an empty lot then back out in the opposite direction almost like they were trying to lose us, then they pulled down a side street and came to a stop. Melanie jumped out and we saw the lost scared sweet pup that she had spotted. He looked tired, hungry and kind of like he had given up. Melanie asked us to go to the other side of the alley to help keep him from running into the busy street nearby, which we did and minutes later he was in my arms, giving us kisses and eating treats. He knew he was safe and this was going to be his last bad day! Into the van he went, nestling down and soon sound asleep before the next stop. While on the way to the next stop these ladies started looking for who or where had room for this sweet boy that night. They don't stop, their work ethic is amazing and their pay is zero! They do it all for the love of the animals! I cannot thank you enough for doing what you guys do! It is absolutely inspiring and thank you so much for letting us be a little part of and help when and where we can❤️❤️❤️

Update on Little Miss Shirley! She has still not found her forever home, please help her find it soon. If you are looking for a special girl to love and always be by your side Shirley is the one for you. Please FB message if you are wanting to meet .

So Shirley had her first ice cream party. Please join in on celebrating Shirley finishing all of her medical needs today. We wrapped up the last heartworm treatment today and she is doing wonderful. Cheers to Shirley and a hard earned clean bill of health. Thank you again The Karen's for helping me help her. On to the next chapter of life!

Shirley is wondering why nobody has wanted to come see her beautiful smile! This little girl has been through so much, living in the streets all alone, to needing a hip surgery and heartworm treatment. Now that she is all fixed up, all she wants is a couch to call her own. If you are looking for a side kick to always have your back Shirley is your girl. All she wants is to snuggle.

Merry Christmas Eve! I will be still taking donations for the pups in need for the next couple weeks. I figure this way it give everyone time to wrap up the holidays. Hello all my fellow animal lovers, I need your help! So I'm sure you all know how much I love my furry kids and am willing to do anything for them. Well I also love helping the ones in need. The ones that don't have the greatest home. So the rescue group ( The Karen's) is out daily helping the not so lucky pups. But they also need supplies to do so. I'm asking for Christmas to get them as much supplies as we can. Really anything can help. Needed supplies are food, puppy coats, inside crates to help bring dogs inside, treats, blankets, beds. So if you are out and about grab a bag or 2 . I will get all supplies to them. Contact me and I will arrange a pick up or you can drop it off at my house. Let's help gets these animals a better life in this colder weather. Thanks ahead of time. Would like to get supplies to them by the first of the year. Please share!

Shirley update! So she had her FHO surgery and was spayed. She is healing wonderfully, already starting to use her leg again whoo hoo! Thank you to the great doctors and staff of countryside Hamburg( Dr Stall, Dr Andrea, Danielle) and of course ( The Karen's). Next step will be heartworm treatment, one step closer to finding that perfect home. Stay tuned for further updates to come.

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce our current foster pup Shirley! When I first saw her post urgently looking for a rescue to pull her from the shelter, her sweet little face reached out and grabbed my heart strings! I immediately contacted my 2 favorite real life "Super Heros" Melanie and Chantal with The Karen's to see if they would help me get this girl out. Of course they said sure because that's what they do! The next step was to get in touch with another awesome individual named Tammy Beal @ Genesee County Animal Control because it was her post that put Shirley in my path. The next day we went to pick this sweet little girl up, she was kind of a mess. She was heartworm positive, had a dislocated hip for who knows how long, she was stinky, skinny and scarred but oh so sweet! We brought her home and washed away her old life and made her first steps towards her new one❤️
More good news to come, please follow and share because in the next couple of months sweet little Shirley is going to be ready for her Forever Home!

UPDATE! Phillip found his forever home! A great family who also happen to be longtime friends of ours welcomed Phillip into their home. Thank you Kristen, Scott and Ace, I can see how much you love him already.
Also a huge thank you to The Karen's (Melanie and Chantel), and everyone else involved with your amazing organization. Thank you for rescuing this little guy, working your magic, and getting the wheels turning to help him get better and giving him a second chance at life! Also thanks to the great and very caring team at Hamburg Countryside VCA for taking excellent care of Phillip with all of his medical needs (and all of the extra love on his clinic days)! Go on Phillip, it's time to live your best life!!

Hello! My name is Phillip. Let's just say I didn't have the greatest start to life. I had Demodex (that's a mite) and it makes you itchy, scratchy and I lost most of my fur. I also didn't get enough to eat and just wasn't taken care of how a sweet baby should be. I now have most of my fur back and am growing like I should! With all of those bad days behind me I am ready to start my new life! I want to give the biggest thank you to a group of great people who call themselves The Karen's! They found me and brought me to my foster family and are helping me get better! Now I'm ready to start looking for my new home. So if yours has an opening, I'd love to fill it! I'm super sweet and I love to cuddle, I am crate trained and I am working on potty training. We think I'm about 4 months old. Next week I will be getting the rest of my vaccinations and getting neutered. Pictures above are from the first day with my foster family and then today.

Update! Rosie has found her forever home! She didn't have to go far.. surprise it's us! She is officially a Palarchio, welcome to our family sweet girl! First ice cream puppy party last night.

I just can't believe Rosie hasn't found her people and her forever home. She is hoping this might be her lucky month! She is sweet, cuddly, and good with everyone and everything she has encountered. Not a mean bone in her body (not even the ones she has broken)! She is a rescue with The Karen's and will be placed thru Livingston County Animal Shelter.
