Offering one out of my personal string-

I’ve gone back and forth on this for a while, because this gelding is truly one of a kind and I hate to send him down the road. We really hate to see him go, but have too many irons in the fire right now. But I won’t just let him go home with anybody. That said, let me tell you about G.

12 year old, 15.1 hand GRADE gelding. This is a bonafide using horse, he’s seen every aspect of ranch work. Spent a few years working in some rough open range country in Mexico before he came here. He’s been used to rope, sort, and gather cattle in the pasture, been to ranch rodeos, worked the sale barn, and everything in between. Just tell him his job and he’s pretty much auto pilot. NO vices- he is safe for anyone, but does have a pretty fancy handle. REALLY rides off your body and legs. Loads himself in the trailer, stands for farrier, quiet and behaved anywhere and everywhere you take him, handles both time off and daily work well. Everything you could want in a ranch horse. Now that said, he’s been there and done that, and does come with light maintenance in the form of annual injections in his right hind fetlock. Vets notes available to seriously interested parties- he sells with NO limitations. He is sound as they come, but performs better and more comfortably if you take care of him like he’ll take care of you. This is NOT one you’ll get home and find you’re disappointed with. UTD on coggins and teeth. Located in Clyde TX

Buster is a good old ranch horse, has a nice handle. Been roped off of on the outside, tracks the sled. JUST had his teeth done a few days ago, feed him good and he will be a big stout gelding by summer. No spook, buck, rear, etc, good for anybody type.

Went and got me a bunch of boys to replace all those mares! These are a good lot.

Yearling Jack. Gonna be a pretty big guy, already at least 44”. Not real gentle. Not a big fan of dogs, but mine sure like to push their limits with him and they’re still alive 🤷🏻‍♀️ Located in Clyde.

3rd ride today. Right after this, I took her into the little arena and trotted her around in there. Guess we’ve graduated from the round pen.

I gotta say, I am a BIG fan of this colt. “DC,” as I’ve been calling him, is now halter broke. This boy is full of goofy, in your pocket character.

Forgot to share this from a few days ago. This was from before I got a halter on him and couldn’t touch him. Y’all, this one is nosy 😂

Untouched as of less than a week ago... started learning to lead 2 days ago, and as of today I think we can call this one halter broke ✅✅✅ Good breeding, good training, or both?

Dollar getting the hang of working in the round pen. Don’t look like much, but this forward movement is a HUGE improvement from the pushy and stubborn behavior he was exhibiting in the sessions prior to this. Learning that he is supposed to move off of the pressure we put on him, not the other way around.
