The BAT class is turning into a play date.
Pattern games working their magic last night at the Control Unleashed/BAT class.
The Control Unleashed class working on the chair game without barriers last night.
On the way back from the Renaissance Festival we stopped at Main Street Rocks in Durand and found this beauty. Looks like there is lightning ⚡ inside. I seriously can not stop playing with it.
The Control Unleashed/Behavioral Advancement Training class is doing amazing. Twelve weeks ago these dogs couldn't be anywhere close to each other.
Izzy's practice session this week we worked on foundational skills and building value in to the mat. Any time she chose to go to the mat and lay down she was given high value treats. Occasionally I would throw a low value treats away from the mat, if she chose to stay we would continue to give the high value treats. When she got up to get the low value treats we would wait for her to return then start feeding the high value treats. No matter how well they are doing it's not a bad idea to go back to basics on occasion.
We didn't have time for everyone to run another time so we ran everyone at the same time. To add another level of chaos everyone ran a dog that was not theirs. None of this was my idea .
At Izzy's practice session this week we also worked on vaccines.
Izzy's practice session this week we worked on allowing Dr. Erin to hold her legs. We are looking for stillness in all her cooperative care procedures. Laying flat is her start signal.
This week's practice session with Izzy we worked on rolling her on her back. She is getting more relaxed with it
