How’s our decoration? 😅 All the black cats at the lounge seem to be particularly drawn to the tree this year and it’s quite the shenanigan. With the help of our volunteers, the lounge is now officially decorated for Christmas and we invite you to come check it out!

December is a super fun month for us, we will be having two adoption events (one this weekend at Yucca Valley Petco!) and one in Los Angeles the week after. We are also planning our Holiday Pawty so keep an eye out on these upcoming events.

Update: Fishies and kitties are SAFE! We pulled 6 cats, four of which are at the lounge and two headed to be my personal fosters to recover from ringworm. Check out our Instagram Stories to see their initial freedom photos.

The fish are headed to their new home now, so even though it was a crazy day it was worth it to save some lives of two very different species. 🤪💕

MEET LEO 🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Welcome to paradise bubba, a.k.a the Save the Meow Meows cat lounge where there is all the toys, beds, cat trees and snacks you could ever want. Leo is a very sweet buff orange kitty who has adjusted really well to the lounge. He is gentle, social and oh so cute.

I always am so happy for the cats that are able to make it to the lounge. We really try and make it an enriching environment while they wait to find a home. But also it makes me so sad to think of the thousands more who don’t get the same chances. So we will continue to fight everyday to make our little rescue a success to be able to help as many cats as we can. As always, donate, share, like, comment- every action helps!

Smol kitten or giant cat grass? 🤔 At the lounge we're always trying out different forms of enrichment. Here we have a foster kitten checking out the new mysterious and yummy plant.

Cat grass or Wheatgrass is good for kitty digestion and keeps them entertained. Should we stock some in store to sell? Let us know if you would be interested in trying it our with your cat!

Why do we have clear chairs? To see the derpy underside of cats of course!

How cute is Janice in her loaf position? This beautiful and sweet dilute calico girlie is still looking for a home. I know holidays are stressful and busy but what a better way to ring in the new year than with a new best friend!
