Happy 1 year to Mathilda! Our tiniest pup who is now 75 lbs, surprising us all. She was the only girl amongst 8 other brothers! We are so happy she is thriving!

This is our last puppy available! My daughter broke with the names we did this time because she insisted he was a Dumbledore, lol. Someone needs this precious boy. After eating tonight he went over to my husband and asked for a cuddle. He got one!

We had to do a quick puppy rinse-off after eating yummy food! And I scrubbed their whelping box down while they ate so everything is fresh and smells sooo good.

They loved it! Athena got her own spot with her own bowl so she didn’t get knocked out of the way by her bossy bros lol. She holds her own pretty well but we still give her extra love sometimes.

What else to do when it’s taking awhile to go back to sleep after helping the pups, cleaning out their whelping box, and putting more food and fresh water out for Penny??? Post more puppy pictures of course! This boy is gonna be pretty chill, he just snuggled right into my husband’s hand earlier tonight. No protests at all! And in the last photo, do you see that cute little puppy butt sticking out underneath Zeus?? 😍

More photos! I’m up in the night feeding these babies and their hard-working momma so I figured I’d post these photos I took last time while we were getting all of the pups weighed. We always track their weight for the first few weeks to make sure their size is steadily going up! The black one pictured is the one and only girl, and the yellow is the biggest-ish of the yellow boys! We’ve decided on a mythical and magical theme for the puppies. The girl is Athena (which makes sense because she has to fight for milk amongst these fat boys!!!), and the boy is Apollo. Scarlett has dubbed one of the other boys Dumbledore, and we are still working on the other temporary names.
Also pictured is our male Rowan trying to sneak over, lol. Penny won’t let him anywhere near the puppies until they’re much bigger (he wouldn’t hurt them, but it’s instinctive for her to keep him away. She trusts us completely and allows us to handle the babies as needed, but Rowan is not allowed near the whelping box for a few weeks.

Well we are all exhausted, but doing well! Our one girl is extra bitty so i am doing extra feedings for her to plump her up. Which means I’m up all in the night lol. These puppies are so worth it, the darlings!!!
