Today is a wonderful day.

We have finally found the problem to the odor that has been an issue in my dog house for the last two months.

I thought it would be a smart idea to change the cat litter that we use in the puppy pens to a cheaper brand since it was only dog p*e and not horrid cat p*e. Which cat p*e is a lot more stinky than dog p*e.

Well that’s not the case I guess the old saying goes if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Because we kept smelling ammonia, and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We did about five deep cleans last eight weeks it didn’t change anything. It was very disheartening, discouraging and frustrating to my high standards of what I feel is appropriate for a dog house.

So yesterday we went back and changed every single pan and tray with new cat litter - tidy cats lightweight only from this point forward. I’m never changing again because boy there is a huge difference in cat litter brands!!

The saying goes again that you get what you pay for. That ends up being more true for me everytime I go a cheaper route, it’s just NOT WORTH IT!!

To anyone who came to my place and visited us the last two months I’m very sorry and hope that you understand that that was not the norm for how I do things. ❤️❤️

So I have been researching a lot today to decide on weather I should change DNA companies or not.

The reason for this is because as a lot of breeders and pet buyers are mad at results of dogs showing they are not purebred. Even two 100% purebred dogs have been having pups show as not 100%.

Well after deep research basically no matter who you use the breed test is not guaranteed and far from accurate.

I have decided to stay with embark but if any of you are wanting a puppy from me and will be relying heavily on a DNA test to tell you if your dog is purebred instead of the kennel club certification, I highly suggest you find a breeder who will agree and say the tests are in fact accurate. Unfortunately I no longer belive in them therefore they are obsolete to me when it comes to proving the breed.

I am so happy to recommend Brittany and her Schnauzers. I have had so many dogs in my life since childhood (including a family favorite Schnauzer named Grossefeus) and I can tell you that her breeding program is the most impressive I’ve ever seen. I bought our George with total confidence. A year later he has proven himself to be the most adorable, gorgeous, entertaining, healthy dog I think I’ve ever had. Brittany gives total confidence in the dogs she presents for sale, always available with information that is credible and knowledgeable. George came to us totally socialized.
