From Tobi’s foster mom: We picked him up on Saturday and he's been an angel ever since. He sleeps through the night, hasn't had any accidents, and walks on leash great! (Knock on wood)

He's in his decompression area and I hope to slowly introduce him to my dog this up coming weekend or next week depending!

Yesterday his stinky butt got a bath and he loved it!

He's not the biggest fan of his crate but we're going to work on that! He loves his decompression area though which has direct access to the back yard where he loves to play fetch.

Koa’s new dad has decided she feels more like a Maya, so we’re going to change her name.

As a disclaimer: Maya is in a foster to adopt home. So while we’re not looking for a home for her, we will still share pupdates as we get them until she can officially be adopted. 🖤

A pupdate on Lacey: Lacey is doing good! Coming out of her shell more and more everyday whether it be good or naughty. Shes warming up to my daughter, she used to be terrified of her. She always seems a little down, until we positively assure her shes fine. She loves treats, and her food. Lays around sleeps all day. Sheds and drools like crazy.

Graces foster mom sent an update: Grace and the Paw Patrol are doing well and growing. Eyes are open and the crew is quite mobile! Graces blood work is still concerning, but we are waiting until the pups are weaned to pursue options, as long as she is doing well. 😊

Summer is ending. Here are 5 tips to make back-to-school time easier on pets:

1. Understand your pet’s feelings 🥺: Our furry friends thrive on routine. Let's take their perspective into consideration and ease their anxieties. 🐾

2. Include pets in the new routine 🚌: Walking to the bus stop or driving to school? Bring your dog along for some family time! 💕🐾

3. Provide pets with mental stimulation during school hours: Keep your furry friend engaged with window views, treat puzzle toys, and even doggy playdates! 🐾

4. Make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise: Incorporate playtime into your new routine or consider hiring a dog walker for midday walks. 🏃‍♀️

5. Don’t ignore dogs when returning home: Try not to act too sad when leaving them or overexcited when getting home. Reacting too strongly might hinder their ability to adapt to the situation.

Pupdate on former foster Hercules: I want you to know what a magical gift Hercules has been to our lives. He is a unicorn of a dog and everyone who meets him wants to take him home. He loves kids and is so patient. He loves to be around people, and lay on the back deck. When other dogs bark at him he doesn’t flinch and keeps on walking. I’m over the years he has become comfortable enough that he will play chase with us and even mouth my arm during our play, but only mine. It is so fun to see that side of his personality come out.
