For Rocking Paws canine athletes and seniors (i dont believe we have any in-between) nutrition is important for health, stamina, endurance, and longevity.
Koda and Ember will be 9 this coming year and Rooster, Nix, Reba and Fig are in their prime of competing in sports (Fig just beginning)
Our dogs get a wide variety of supplements each day along with either raw or premium kibble with fresh (made weekly) toppers. We also have a variety of freeze dried raw toppers and bone broth.
This week's toppers are lean rinsed ground beef, organic carrots, broccoli crowns, and green beans. All pulverixed in the ninja to help digestion.

This past weekend Nix and Fig competed in Wichita Falls TX in scentwork. On day 1 Nix earned her 9th leg towards her detective title. Just one more!!!
It was a tough environment for searching. It was cold (mostly for me) but that keeps odor from blooming, and buried and upper level containers was outside.
Fig Qd and 1st place in exterior each day (it was on concrete, Qd and 1st and 4th place in containers, Qd both days in interior but she just couldn't get past the odors on the grass to get a Q in buried. Lots of animal 💩 and it was just too much distraction for her baby dog nose. I thought we had practiced enough in HD, however 2 NQs proved me wrong. We sure know what we need to work on! I wish I had picked up some of that animal 💩 to use for distractions! (Something only a dog handler says)
Nix was working on elites legs of exterior master (2 Qs) and interior excellent (2 Qs) but she thinks buried and container are stupid. More practice needed!
All in all, it was a fabulous weekend with teammates and my pups!

Yes, we know its Thanksgiving weekend, but you need to work off the turkey dinner you ate!

3. No worries if you dont own a disc, we have plenty
4. If you dont know how to throw or roll, no problem as we can help!
5. If you have company feom the holiday, bring them! They may want to enjoy some sunshine too!
