We’re a 501c3 rescue based in Georgetown TX! Our mission is to find forever homes for rescue animals! No animal should ever have to endure pain and suffering.

Foster2Forever Rescue aims to see that every animal brought into our care receives unconditional dedication, love, and kindness. Our mission is to save dogs and cats, primarily under the age of two, from living a life full of fear, pain, and abandonment. We place our foster care program animals in an alternative loving environment until they can find forever homes. Fostering is essential to our re

scue because we are limited to the number of animals we can save due to the number of foster homes available. Our goal is to better the animal community, bring animals and those that love them closer together, and, most importantly - Save Lives. For donations, we have the following options:

We are so excited to announce that Donatello has found a wonderful new foster family. Now we just need to find the same placement for April. Can anyone welcome her into their heart and home?

🚨Urgent Foster Needed for April & Donatello🚨

We’re feeling the pressure… April and Donatello had foster homes lined up, but unfortunately those plans fell through at the last minute. Now we’re racing against the clock to find them new fosters before their current family leaves town on the 31st.

These two sweet pups have been loved and cared for since they were just two days old, after being found abandoned in a box in San Marcos, TX. Because of their incredible foster family, they’ve grown into happy, well-socialized puppies who adore children, dogs of all sizes, and even their feline friends. They truly are the total package — loving, playful, and ready for their next adventure.

Now it’s time for them to spread their paws… but they need a safe place to land first. Without a new foster, we’re not sure what comes next — and that’s the part that worries us most.

We thought we had found Donatello a foster family but they just found stray puppies and now can't intake our sweet boy. He needs to find a new foster family before his current foster family leaves town. Who can welcome him into their heart and home?

Things feel a little stuck for me right now. Before more puppies like me can be helped, I need a foster home first.

I’m not sure why no one has picked me yet—I’m a total love bug! I adore kids, dogs, cats… basically anyone who will give me snuggles.

We want to say thank you to everyone who donated to Knox’s medical goal. We were able to raise $171 yesterday with only $579 left to go!

🐾 Hi friends… it’s me, Knox 🐾

This $5 Friday, I wanted to share a little update about my journey. Not too long ago, things were really tough for me—but with lots of help from my amazing medical team, plenty of rest, weekly visits to my chiropractor, and so much love from my foster family… I’m getting stronger every single day. They say I’ve beaten the odds, and I’m on my way to a full recovery. I’m trying really hard.

I still have a little way to go though. My chiropractor visits are helping me heal, and I need 12 sessions over the next six weeks, which will cost about $750. That’s why I’m asking for your help this $5 Friday.

🌙🐾 **Ranger’s Nightly Note…🌙🐾

Hi friends… it’s me, Ranger. The sun will soon be go ing down, and as everything starts to get quiet, I wanted to share a little evening announcement…

✨ **I’m ready to find my forever home!** ✨

I am believed to be a 1-year-old, 35 lb Schnoodle (Schnauzer + Poodle mix), currently being fostered in Waco, TX—but I can travel anywhere in the United States to meet my future family!

As the day winds down, I think about all my favorite things… chasing my ball (I really love fetch ), going for car rides like the best co-pilot I am, and taking walks where I stay close, just looking up at you to check in and make sure we’re always together.

I’m a pretty easygoing guy if I do say so myself— you see I am crate trained, house trained, and always ready to learn (I’ve got those smart Poodle genes after all 😉). I also absolutely adore my little foster human siblings and my pup pals! I haven’t met any feline friends yet, so I’m not quite sure how I’d do—but since I do love to chase things that move (like my BALL!), slow and supervised introductions would be best just to make sure we’re all friends.

What I really want is someone to share all of this with. Someone who will play with me, take me on adventures, and let me relax nearby when the day is done.

I don’t want to spend much time in a crate—I’d much rather be by your side throughout the day, living life together and being your very own “Ranger,” watching over you every step of the way.

We can't believe that as cute as Daisy and Chip are they did not receive any Wish Wednesday items. They would greatly appreciate your support today to help them settle into their foster families home!

Wish Wednesday: Meet Daisy & Chip!

Formerly known as Peppita and Daunte, these two cuties are now rocking their new names — Daisy and Chip — and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect match!

Daisy is as sweet, soft, and cuddly as a little flower, always ready to melt into your arms. Chip, on the other hand, is a full-on rockstar — handsome like your favorite boy band heartthrob, but with a playful, adventurous side! He loves to roughhouse, play chase, and hang with the big dogs like the cool kid he is.

These two are our Wish Wednesday stars because they’re just getting settled into a loving foster home, thanks to some extra help from amazing volunteers while their foster family was out of town. Now they’re surrounded by lots of love — from little humans to pup pals and feline friends — and are learning all their manners like champs!

🚐💛 Transport Tuesday: JJ Is Safe! 💛🚐

Today we’re celebrating JJ’s freedom ride and the amazing people who made it possible.

We want to say a special thank you to JJ’s wonderful foster for opening her heart and home, and to the dedicated volunteer who drove from Georgetown to Bryan and back again to make sure she got there safely. Because of them, JJ now has a soft place to land and a bright future ahead. To us, this is what rescue looks like when a community comes together. Both of these individuals have not only donated their time to transport, but they have also opened their homes in the past to foster dogs and helped them find forever families. Once again, they stepped up to save our sweet JJ.

✨ JJ’s Freedom Ride… ✨

JJ did fantastic on her freedom ride. She stayed quiet in her kennel, taking everything in as the world passed by. While everyone she met was new to her, she greeted each person with her whole heart and handled the car ride like the little princess we knew she would be.

For a dog who didn’t know what was coming next, JJ showed nothing but trust. And now, for the first time, she gets the chance to feel safe and start her next chapter.

This is rescue. One animal, one ride, one foster, one team—and one life saved.

🐾 Happy National Puppy Day! 🐾

Hi friends… Donatello here 🐾💚

Today is National Puppy Day, and I’ve got a big story for such a little guy. I was rescued with my ninja turtle siblings after we were found in a box when we were just a day or two old in San Marcos, Texas. Thanks to Foster2Forever, we got a second chance—and now look at me growing up!

I’ve officially been crowned the cuddliest of the bunch (not to brag… okay maybe a little 😄). I LOVE everyone—tiny humans, cats, dogs—you name it. If there are snuggles involved, I’m already there.

Right now, I’m on the hunt for something really special… my very own family. My foster family has some trips coming up, so I’m hoping to find either a forever home or a loving place to stay until I do. I promise I’ll bring all the kisses, wiggles, and puppy love you could ever want.

JJ Has Found A Foster Family!❤️

🚨 JJ Needs a Foster by Wednesday! 🚨

Look at this sweet, scruffy face… this is JJ.
She’s around 1 year old, a Border Terrier / wire-haired terrier mix, and weighs just 34 lbs. She’s heartworm negative and great with other dogs.

JJ is the kind of pup who quietly hopes someone will notice her. She’s gentle, adorable, and has so much love to give—but right now, she’s running out of time.

She urgently needs a foster home no later than this Wednesday. We can arrange transport—she just needs someone willing to open their heart and home and give her a safe place to land.

Without a foster, her future will sadly be at risk due to the shelter being overcrowded, and we can’t save her without a foster family.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Coco’s medical care. He has reached his goal!

🐾💙 $5 Friday For Coco!💙🐾

Meet Coco, an adorable 8–10 week old dachshund with the sweetest little soul. This precious boy was found crossing a busy road, and when his finder knocked on doors nearby, no one came forward to claim him. We truly don’t understand how—that’s how special he is.

We brought Coco into our care, where our medical team scanned him for a microchip. Sadly, one was not found but we knew we had to step in and help. He is slightly malnourished and has some bumps on his belly, but thankfully, he was otherwise in good health.

The wonderful family who found him offered to foster—and since then, Coco’s personality has absolutely blossomed. To say he’s come out of his shell is an understatement. He is pure love and adores everyone he meets, especially his little foster human siblings.

This $5 Friday, we are fundraising for Coco’s upcoming medical care, which includes dewormer, multiple rounds of vaccinations, a microchip, nail trims, monthly preventatives, and his sterilization surgery. Altogether, his care is estimated to cost $375.

✨ Thankful Thursday ✨

Because of you and your generous donations to Charlie’s boarding costs, two more lives were saved.

Meet Pepita and Dante — two 3-month-old Frenchie mixes who weren’t just rescued… they were rescued just in time. When Derek and his wonderful wife, Kim, stepped in to fly them from Lubbock to Georgetown, everything changed. Thanks to them, these sweet pups safely arrived this past Monday and are now part of our Foster2Forever family.

But the story doesn’t stop there…

With spring break happening for many families, we needed short-term fosters to step in until their foster family returns next week. Our community came together to make that possible. Three incredible families opened their hearts and homes, making sure Pepita and Dante had a safe place to land.

This is exactly why we always say we are “one rescue family,” because when we come together, we truly can save lives.

This Thankful Thursday, we want to say thank you to everyone who played a part in this rescue story — including those who donated to Charlie’s overdue boarding costs, Derek and Kim for safely flying Pepita and Dante into our care, the three families who opened their homes on such short notice, and the foster family who will continue their journey until they find their forever homes.

Charlie, Pepita, and Dante truly appreciate your support and can’t wait until another animal gets the chance of a lifetime to take their rescue flight!

Thank you to whoever purchased the blanket and snuggle bunny off Charlie’s wishlist. The board members of the rescue purchased a few chew items for him off his wishlist to try and help with downtime in his kennel but there are still other items on the list that would be beneficial to him if anyone still wanted to purchase him an item!

🐾 Hi friends… it’s me, Charlie 🐾

I wanted to take a moment while I’m cozy in my kennel to say thank you. Because of YOU, my boarding balance is now fully covered. I heard the humans say we reached the goal, cleared the overdue bill, and now… two other pups got a chance at life too. I don’t know about you, but that makes my tail wag extra hard.

When I first came here, things felt really dark and scary. They say I was “almost feral”… I’m not totally sure what that means, but I do know I hadn’t always been shown the love I deserved. I was unsure about… well, everything. The rescue even had to pause taking in new dogs just to make sure I could get the care I needed and that my time here was covered.

But wow… you all showed up for me in the biggest way. I may just be one dog, but you made me feel like I truly matter. And because of that, more lives were saved too. That’s something really special.

Boarding life is… a mix of feelings. The people here are very nice, I get yummy meals which has honestly changed my whole outlook on life, and I get lots of playtime—which is my favorite part! But when playtime is over and I go back to my kennel, it often time feels lonely… and not quite like a home.

So I was hoping… if anyone wanted to keep helping me while I wait for my foster family on the 25th, I could really use a few comfort items. Maybe a soft toy to cuddle, something tasty to enjoy, or a cozy blanket that smells like love. Those little things would make kennel time so much easier for me.

The awesome humans here added some of my favorite things to my wishlist—things I’ve gotten to try with my pup pals. But they all have their own families who pack their goodies and I don’t blame them for not wanting to share all the time. I’d really love to have a few special things of my own. Auntie Danielle even said the Amazon truck can bring a delivery just for me
