We’re a 501c3 rescue based in Georgetown TX! Our mission is to find forever homes for rescue animals! No animal should ever have to endure pain and suffering.

Foster2Forever Rescue aims to see that every animal brought into our care receives unconditional dedication, love, and kindness. Our mission is to save dogs and cats, primarily under the age of two, from living a life full of fear, pain, and abandonment. We place our foster care program animals in an alternative loving environment until they can find forever homes. Fostering is essential to our re

scue because we are limited to the number of animals we can save due to the number of foster homes available. Our goal is to better the animal community, bring animals and those that love them closer together, and, most importantly - Save Lives. For donations, we have the following options:

The one, the only, the gloriously cross-eyed queen of chaos and cuddles!

You’re probably wondering how she got her name. Well… look at her. We think it explains itself. And no, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, those gloriously googly peepers are 100% real and 1000% adorable.

Noodle, also nicknamed Miss Noodle Wiggle Bean is a masterpiece of contradictions: she runs like a cheetah on espresso, but snuggles like a teddy bear fresh out of a dryer. She’s a certified cuddle bug, a professional purr generator, and a total social butterfly who adores other kittens, humans, and even kids.

Now, there is one teeny-tiny rule for being part of her fan club. Because her eyes point in slightly different directions, her depth perception is... let’s call it “creative.” So she’ll need to stay an indoor-only diva for life!

The Super Pup’s Halloween $5 Friday Update!

Wagging tails, my favorite rescue friends! It’s Charlie the Super Pup, back for my first Halloween mission! Just like a ghost at midnight, I am a little spooked—you see, I didn’t quite reach my goal last week to cover all my medical care, but I’m here to try again!

This Halloween, I dream of trick-or-treating not just for delicious milkbones, but for a forever family! I’m just $74 away from my goal, and then I will undergo my sterilization surgery and find my own special someone. 🐾🐱 Happy Belated National Cat Day! 🐱🐾

We may be a day late, but we haven't forgotten about our favorite feline friends! Yesterday, we focused on Kiki to ensure she has everything she needs as she prepares to welcome her puppies into the world. We want her foster family to have all the essentials for a safe and healthy delivery—but now, our hearts turn to celebrating all the amazing cats out there!

🌟 Shelter Sunday: Meet Meg and Mika!🌟

This Shelter Sunday we have two beautiful 5-month-old Aussie mixes looking for immediate placement with loving foster families due to lack of space at the Bastrop Animal Shelter

Meg is the beautiful, brown pup and Mika is the tri-color male. Both weigh around 20 lbs and are incredibly beautiful! While they may need a little time to warm up, we know they will blossom into perfect pups once they escape the loud, scary shelter environment and have someone to love and guide them.

They are friendly with other dogs, and although the shelter can't do a cat test, it’s believed that they'd do just fine with proper, slow introductions.

Shelter Saturday: Two Lives Depend on You!

What started with 9 adorable puppies is now down to just TWO! Meet the last remaining brother and sister duo from the Guadalope Animal Shelter—this charming pair desperately needs your help! With a deadline quickly approaching this Monday, these sweet souls are in need of a foster family to save them.

We believe they might be hound/boxer/doberman mixes, estimated to be around 4 months old. Whatever their mix, their lives are worth saving!

The first brother pictured below has thankfully already found a wonderful foster family, this foster family previously supported our very first-ever adoption event. In honor of their beloved pup who recently passed away, they are stepping up to save another life—what a beautiful tribute!

Charlie is right on his way to reaching his goal. Only 134 left to raise!🖤

🐾🌟 $5 Friday for Charlie! 🌟🐾

Hi everyone! I’m Charlie, and you might remember my rescue story that made the news a few months back. I was one of the pups saved by Foster2Forever from a tough hoarding situation in Killeen, along with many other animals. While my friends have all found wonderful homes, I’m still on my journey to my forever family. But that's okay—my foster family has shown me so much love and support!

Thanks to them, I’ve learned that I’m loved and important. They’ve worked hard to help me recover from some nasty eye infections and skin issues. I had a tough battle with a yeast infection, but after lots of TLC, weekly baths, and daily medications, I’m finally ready for my sterilization surgery! While some pups might be nervous about this, I’m actually looking forward to it, because it means I’m one step closer to finding the loving family I've always dreamed of.

To make this happen, I need a bit of help with my medical expenses. I’m trying to raise $375 to cover my deworming, core vaccinations, microchip, monthly preventatives, nail trims, skin medications, and my upcoming sterilization surgery.

🌟 Nova’s Beautiful New Beginning! 🌟

Today, we celebrate the incredible journey that has led Nova to her happily ever after.

Nova came into our care just hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized. We couldn’t let that happen, so we reached out to our wonderful dog trainer at Dogslanding Play & Train, who welcomed her without a second thought.

Shortly after Nova joined us, we received a message from her previous owners. They had to rehome her due to financial difficulties, and although they tried to find her a loving home, that sadly didn’t happen. That’s when we became part of her story!

We quickly learned that Nova is easygoing, loves other animals, and adores children. While we did our best to find her a foster family, we faced many difficulties along the way. Despite this, Nova remained patient and hopeful, making friends with everyone, including every pup at the boarding facility.

Just a few days after coming into our care, a wonderful family in Denver, Colorado, applied to adopt her, and we knew they were the perfect match. They work from home, have a large fenced-in backyard, and a little human sibling for her to spend her days with!

Nova's love for children was evident as she happily wagged her tail and gave every child she met lots of kisses. It was clear that her story was falling perfectly into place.

During her last week at the boarding facility, Nova eagerly counted down the days until she could meet her forever family. With the help of some amazing pilots, she was flown to her new home in Denver, Colorado where she was welcomed with open arms.

Now, Nova enjoys long walks, cozy naps, and even picked out her very own pumpkin for Halloween! Her rescue story reminds us that we should never judge a dog by their breed or past experiences—every day offers a new opportunity to embrace life, and that’s exactly what Nova does.

We want to say thank you to everyone who played a part in Nova’s rescue story. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without each of you. Nova, we couldn’t be happier for you as your story continues to unfold. Here’s to your happily ever after, sweet girl—we love you! 🧡🐾

✨ Wish Wednesday: Meet Puka! ✨

Today, we're shining a spotlight on a very special pup named Puka, inspired by none other than the Los Angeles Rams! 🏈 After spending FOUR long months in a small kennel in the Rio Grande Valley, Puka was welcomed into a loving foster home. Thankfully, he escaped the euthanasia list time and time again, and he is finally here with us and his wonderful foster family.

Puka is a total gem—he loves other animals and adores following his foster mom everywhere she goes, not to mention the two little humans who gave him his name. Of course, everyone has their own opinions about the Rams, so they threw multiple names into a hat, and after mixing them well, Puka was still the name chosen— and boy is he ready to take on the world!

As we celebrate Wish Wednesday, we want to show Puka just how mighty the foster2forever family can be! While we may be a small organization, we can achieve big things when we all come together. Puka has never experienced a walk outside of the shelter, played with a toy, or enjoyed a tasty Kong, so we’ve created an Amazon wishlist to help him discover all the wonderful things he has been missing out on.
