Thank you Lisa and Danny for having me out last night to work on this sweet girls horse! This horse was having trouble eating which was from very sharp upper and lower molars! Now she’s all set and ready to keep taking care of this little girl!

Grateful for the opportunity to talk to the 4-H kids last night about equine dentistry! I loved being able to teach the importance of dental work on horses to people! They were a great group to talk to which kept me on my toes with lots of questions!

Look at this awesome 1 month transformation!
Jake was rescued a few years ago by some great people but he just could never seem to keep any weight on! The picture on the right shows how much this horse thrived in just one month after having his teeth worked on! Now Jake can enjoy ALL of his extra grain and hay that they spoil him with😉!

People always ask why I push to get 1-5 year olds checked around every 6 months… well this is exactly why!! There’s so much happening in a horses mouth in this age range! This could have been prevented if that deciduous tooth (baby tooth) had been taken out when it was roughly around 3-4 years old.

The first picture is of a hypererupted molar which was causing the mirroring molar above to start to wear out (not the best picture). The second picture is of the same molar after being filed down! Which will be taken down some more in a couple of months. Then of course I had to throw in a picture of these two cuties I seen while working on their mommas!
