Big or small you can still get them to where you need them to be. Be consistent, and have patience. As a dog trainer, I enjoy seeing progress in dogs, they are capable of so much. It just takes time.

One of the clients I have worked with is looking to re-home their male American Eskimo, he’s around 2yrs old. I have not worked with this dog, I have only worked with their other dog. He’s a good dog, needs obedience work. Need more info text me and I’ll get more to you.

The best part of having a dog I can trust. I always use safety when off leash. I love when my dog can have the freedom she needs.

It’s rewarding to me to see a dog pick up a command. I have learned from different breeds that some take more time then others. Be patient and consistent.

I have been having the privilege to work with Rocky and his owner, in a private lesson program with basic obedience. Just nice on leash skills and working around distractions. He’s very smart and an energetic boy. The owner is hoping to qualify him to be a service dog for her son. We have a ways to go before anything happens. Great dog to work with!

On leash obedience is so important. I love that I can have a pack without being pulled down the road. Even though some dogs are small/medium they can still pull and be annoying.

She did so well today. We did basics in the store and learned to be calm and relaxed. I had a little boy come up and almost pet her, but then he asked before. She was in a down position and I said he could. Rosa did very well, stayed in her down position, she was very interested in smelling the boy but kept her position. I was very proud. She’s a very good dog

Worked with this awesome girl Tuesday and today (Thursday). Shes doing just a good job and starting to be calm and comfortable in public. doesn’t like weird noises but we are working on it.

Got some public access on Thursday. She was very stressed out but calmed down enough, and trained great. Got to see a dog and handle her situation with being calm and focused.
She’s so smart I love training Rosa.

Meet my clients puppy (Rosa), in for private lessons .

She is such a cute little girl and very smart. We are working on basic obedience, sit, lay, come, place, out, stay, and leave it. I’m excited to continue to work with her and her owners. I hope to get some videos on her as well.

Beanie in a pet friendly store
She was a little scared, and will get more outings and more time outside at different places when she’s not freezing in the snow. She did so good though, and she’s so smart. Already knows 4 tricks, still learning the fourth one.

But this is my twin sisters puppy (Beanie). I am training her and we are going to be learning the basics, also a few tricks to keep her active and use her mind more.

What I am able to do with a trained dog:

•My dog is able to go off leash (with her e-collar for safety).
•Able to come with me pretty much everywhere.
•Can ignore other dogs when she’s working.
•Heels nicely on and off leash.
•Sits, downs, stays, and comes back. (She nows so much more then that).

I’m still working on more things with her like using her nose to find things or people. To control her drive for things. She is teaching me so much. The dogs I have trained, they have taught me so much about the breed and how different they can be.

This is Rockette. I trained her in a 3 week board and train. She is doing so much better, what her owners say. They are very happy with walking her now and her listening better. She was a joy to train.

When I came to the facility I am currently working at another trainer was training this big handsome boy, Maverick. The other trainer trained him for three weeks. then she told me to take over because I was firm with him and actually getting somewhere in his 6 weeks of training. He came a long way from the time I got him to train. He’s not a 100%, but he’s manageable, better then before. Maverick is a dominant dog and showed some aggression. He was a favorite of mine to train. Great dog. Owner is happy how far Maverick has come in his training. I’m proud that the owner is willing to learn.

This was one one the dogs I had in for a 3 week board and train. The owners wanted him to come when called, wait at the door, and leash manners. I taught all the basics and worked a little more with what the owners wanted. He’s a good dog, very smart, and I’m proud of where he has come. The owners are very happy with him.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I have been busy. But here I am, I have been training dogs. So far I have trained a dominant German shepherd and a Australian shepherd. Both great dogs.
The German shepherd I took over from another trainer that told me I would be a better fit and get him where he needs to be. He was a challenge, had to wear a muzzle. The other trainer trained him for three weeks then I came into the picture for another three. I was able to finally put his equipment on without his muzzle. Still couldn’t fully trust him but I got I’m to easily manage him. Owners where so happy.

The Australian shepherd, he was easy but yet stubborn. He had a problem with some dogs and kids. I had him for three weeks. I got him to walk nicely on a leash and be manageable around other dogs. Kids, he ignores but when kids get into is space then he didn’t like it.

I am learning and figuring out where I’m going to end up in my dog training. Let me know if anyone has questions.

P.s. of course me and my girl. I love that she closed her eyes in the second picture. She amazes me every day. Thanks to my mom and dad, her, and the schooling I’ve had.

Yesterday this sweet girl did some nose work yesterday. I was at a camp ground with some friends from camp in July. It was the last day, so I decided to ask if my friend wanted to hide for her. He did. It wasn’t a hard hide for aya, something easy because there was so many smells. It took her awhile, but she found him. It just amazes me how she works her nose. She would go to one spot where there is a lot of scent, to a spot where there is no scent, so she’ll go back to the strong scent and continue her search. I loved watching her, it was very cool to see.
P.s. I haven’t worked her nose in a long time and that was the first on someone she’s never seen before. We had his hat for the scent article

Did some advanced training today. She was pretty good off leash. A person walked through the park, I called her over and she did well with that.
After I got done training, a 10yr old girl came up to me and asked if she could pet my dog. I told her yes but she has to sit first. Aya did, and did real well with the little girl. Did a trick for the little girl because she wanted to see one. So did the only one she knows well.
Don’t be afraid to tell someone they have to wait till your dog sits or if you have to tell them no.

Hey everyone! I am wanting to get more hands on with dog training, either puppy training or adult dog training. I am here to train your dog basic and advanced obedience. I chose this carrier because I love seeing the changes I can make in a dog and make them more easier to live with. My dog is teaching me a lot about dog language because she isn’t perfect.
