I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season and new year!!

I’m getting a lot of new clients reaching out, so I figured I’d hop on here and let you all know that my soonest openings are going to be in March. I’m only accepting new clients in Jefferson, Millersburg and Albany. All surrounding areas are full on clients at this time.

Can you guys believe the Sudsy Pup has been up and running for 3 years!? 🎉

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being such reliable clients of mine. I started my grooming career at petco in 2016. I moved from salon to salon, and a few different mobile grooming companies with the dream of one day owning my own business. In 2020 I took a leap of faith, bought a truck from South Dakota and I haven’t looked back since. I could not have done it with out such amazing clients who have stuck with me through (many) truck repairs and hiccups that come with being a first time business owner.

Being your dog groomer is my passion. I like to say I’m not just your dog groomer, but friends. So many of you share your family’s lives with me. I hear about vacations, buying new houses and a few new furry friends being added to the family. You all bring so much joy to my life. SO THANK YOU for letting me love your pups. I hope to be here pampering your dogs for many more years to come.

Hello hello sudsy pup clients!! I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving ❤️

I want to take a moment to ease your minds about the new respiratory illness going around in dogs. This virus seems to be airborne, meaning your dog can get it anywhere. I have not come across any cases in my clients. I use a veterinarian grade cleaning solution between each and every groom. I’m working extremely hard to keep your pups safe while they are in my care. From what I have heard from vets, they are preferring you to take your dog to a mobile groomer or a one on one groomer while this virus is going around. Let’s work together to keep those pups SAFE, be sure your pups are up to date on all those vaccinations!!

Now let’s talk cancellations. I know some of you are worried about this virus and might want to cancel your upcoming appointments (I completely understand if you want to) but my 48 hour cancellation policy is still standing. If you cancel with in 48 hours I do have to tack on an extra 30 dollar cancellation fee to your next appointment. Last minute cancellations are extremely hard for me to fill often times not being filled at all, meaning I’m completely out of that money for the day. Being a small business, that hurts. Please be understanding with me during this process, I’m trying my best to work with all of you as you have been AMAZING to me.

I’ll see you all soon, hope everyone is staying warm during these cold days we getting in the valley. I can’t wait to pamper your pups! ❤️

Reoccurring clients!!!! Do me a favor and check your grooming schedule. Make sure you are booked! Although I’m pretty good at prebooking all of you, I do services hundreds of clients and sometimes I miss one here and there. I don’t do it purposely. So help me out and make sure you are prebooked. Booking update ‼️

Late October is my soonest openings at this time. That being said, all new clients will be put on a cancellation list. If someone cancels an appointment I will call clients in the area to fill the spot.

Being this far booked out it’s going to be difficult to add dogs onto appointments. Please be sure to check with me before hand or book appropriately.

I’m going to be cracking down on my no show policy. Two no shows in a year and I have to drop you as a client. It’s really difficult to fill those spots. If you are going to cancel an appointment please give me 48 hour notice if possible.

Schedule update‼️

I’m booking July at this time. It never hurts to ask if I have openings. Sometimes cancellations do pop up, but at this time new clients are looking at a bit of a wait to get on my schedule.

Truck update‼️

The truck has been in the shop this week getting the new injection pump installed. Thank you for all your patience with me over the last few weeks. I can’t wait to get back to grooming tomorrow!

UPDATE! My mechanic went ahead and ordered a new part. It’s going to take 2-3 weeks to be built. He messed with my old part and as of right now the truck is running. There is no guarantee it will continue to run until the new one comes. I’m going to continue to groom in the meantime.

Thank you all so much for your patience. I’m trying hard to make this as easy as possible for you!

(Everyone cross your fingers for me it runs for 2-3 weeks 😆)

Good morning! As many of you know, my truck has been having issues for the last few months. I’ve taken it to several different mechanics. After I pick it up, it runs for a week or two and then it stops running again. Right now the part we’re are needing to be replaced is not an easy part to find. This might require sending my old fuel injector pump in the mail to be rebuilt. This is going to take some time. I’ve been working so hard to get this fixed but unfortunately this is completely out of my control.

I don’t know exactly how long the truck will be down. I will let my client who this will affect know ahead of time, and once I get back up and running, I will work extra hard to get those of you I can back on my schedule.

I realize this has effected some of you more than once and I APPRECIATE you working with me while I try and figure this out ❤️

Scheduling update ‼️

My soonest openings are in May/June! Right now I’m not taking new clients in Aumsville and Lebanon. Im in town once or twice a month and I’m completely full for those areas through the rest of the year.

REGULARS, most clients are booking for all of 2023. I highly suggest this since I’m getting several new clients calling a day. Let’s book you and lock in your appointments.

Friendly reminder that skipping grooming in the colder months isn’t the best idea. I want your dog fluffy and cute as much as you. To maintain a mat free coat comes with grooming every 4-6 weeks and brushing at home every single day. Do you know how to identify matting? The easiest way to tell is if your metal comb glides through the coat effortlessly. If it does not, your pup is matted. Matting can cause sores, infection, and the only way to get it out is to shave it off. Let’s work together and schedule your furry friend accordingly to keep their coat healthy!! ❤️

If you’re new to the sudsy pup, welcome 🤗 if you are a reoccurring client of mine, you know the drill. I usually start booking a few months in advance once spring rolls around so it’s always good to book a few appointments in advance.
