Hello! This page was created to help save puppies and dogs from Parvo! I am not a vet nor do I profess to be. I am speaking and sharing only out of personal experience! Our puppy was saved from Parvo with a simple inexpensive treatment for Hemopet Blood Bank in Garden Grove, CA. Go do your research on Dr. Jean Dodds, DVM and homeopathic veterinarian medicine (35 years experience)...she is AMAZING!!!! In June of 2020 we were connected with someone who needed to re-home puppies immediately because the owner could not care for them. All we were asked to pay was for vet bills previously paid and shots. Long story short...we were given puppies with Parvo and didn't know it...yes it was a puppy ring. We had two adorable sweet black and white Malitpoo pups, a little brother and sister, Bailey and Bodie. Well things went downhill quickly form there. Both pups got sick and 2 f***l Parvo tests were negative. Our little boy pup was the sickest and had to be hospitalized...after 3 days, and $5,000+ later he died at the Critical Care Hospital. The day after he died we got a call saying the BLOOD test for Parvo had just come back positive. We were devastated. Then our little girl puppy, Bailey started getting sicker and we had to do something more! We researched Parvo treatments and found Dr. Dodds and Hemopet Blood Bank! Our little Bailey girl was saved! Fresh, frozen, plasma from a universal donor dog recovered form Parvo saved her! It cost $55 to get the plasma!!!! Why do vets not know about this or recommend it??? I do not know...money? Maybe. The plasma can be given subcutaneously under the skin (ask a vet for information) and they say there are no side affects! Three doses...three doses is what it takes and on the 3rd dose our Bailey was better! IMPORTANT!!!!! We also had to give supportive care form the vet!!!! Our Bailey was already ill so we HAD to also do supportive care through our vet...antibiotics, fluids (sub cu) for hydration, anti-nausea meds, anti-diarrheal, need to keep glucose levels up, etc...but we did this outpatient. Again...1 treatment (3 doses) later our Bailey was eating again and almost back to normal. We shared this info with another family going through the same issue and their baby survived as well. Vets do not seem to want to do this treatment, especially subcutaneously under the skin, but push them! Or go to another vet! If you need more info or have questions please contact me! No more fur babies should have to suffer and die!
