I have to brag on this guy. Wally was such a nervous, anxious, fearful wreck when he checked in on Tuesday. In just 4 days, this dude has come SO FAR!!! UGH!!! The team members have also noticed his improvement!! Poor Wally was growling at me and pee'd himself the first two times I touched him. He was shaking, tail tucked, expressed his a**l glands. He did NOT want anything to do with the slip lead and gave us the SLIP (😀 GET IT?!) when we would try to transport him around the hotel. It took about 10 minutes the first time I tried to slip lead him, and now he moves forward to put his head through our slip leads to be transported.

Today this guy was SHINING! We went to Poe Mill Skatepark yesterday, and I'm sure everyone can guess how that went with 8-10 boarders riding around. We stayed for about an hour. We left slowly and as calmly as poor Wally could.

We went again this morning while no one was there. I encouraged him to get on some of the ramps and got him more comfortable being at the park. Once a boarder arrived, we watched him from across the park until Wally stopped trying to bolt every time the board hit the ground. We were getting ready to leave, so we had to pass by and Wally REALLY struggled when we were about 6 feet away. We decided to stay when he started to display more fear and anxiety as we were leaving. After about a half hour of sitting and encouraging, Wally was able to watch him go by, within 6 feet of us, without bolting. He was calmly watching him, if the boarder picked up speed, Wally wound tense but he didn't run. When we left, it was celebrating just watching the skate boarder go by and do his thang without melting down. I cannot even begin to describe how proud I am of this guy.

Apple, Rip, and Wally are on day 3 of their board and train programs! Apple is working on some separation anxiety and being calmer in the crate, rip is getting set up with a good foundation for obedience for a future of off leash fun, and Wally is doing some serious confidence building. Way to go guys!

We conquered the Bosu! Well...conquered the fear of stepping on the bosu. Even the most confident of the group struggled with stepping on the bosu ball when they walked up to it for the first time. By the end of the day, everyone steppes on it and walked over it! By encouraging these dogs to try something seemingly scary, it builds their confidence when they finally get the nerve to try.

What a great day! Edison of the was officially adopted today! We'll be heading out next week to work on some one-on-one training with his new family to ensure his success! We couldn't be happier for Eddie and his new family!!

Bert and Ernie did a great job on the pack walk this morning! These goofballs have been working hard to get certified as therapy dogs! We get them 'test ready' and then teach their forever families how to work on their training daily, as well as giving them any guidance they need! We don't certify them before they're adopted because their future pawrents have to get certified too! Way to go Bert and Ernie!

We've got an almost full house this week! We have Dolly, Oakley, and Roman all doing board and train programs this week. Dolly is in need of some serious confidence building, Oakley is here for our puppy program to work on the basics, and Roman is working on his interactions with other dogs as well as a few other things! We were HEARTBROKEN on today's pack walk to hear that the skatepark was recently sold and will be TORN DOWN AND REPLACED WITH APARTMENTS!! This skatepark has been here as long as I can remember. I visited it once in high school and remember thinking it was such a neat little hole in the wall spot for people that love to skate to get together and shred. When I realized it was RIGHT behind Noble Dog, I was literally STOKED to get out there and do some dog training. That's right, not skate, but train dogs. A lot of dogs are reactive to skateboards, and we saw a whole of of them today! It was the busiest we've seen the skatepark during a pack walk! We usually (and still did) encourage the dogs to get onto some of the ramps and other things, and we worked on some polite greetings with strangers. Proud of all the hard work these babies did this morning! We will likely visit the skatepark weekly on the pack walks as long as we can. N.E.

Beau is joining us for a puppy program this week! He’s here to work on the basics. He’s one smart little man! Very eager to please but he has quite a lot to say when you leave him by himself. He’s working on calming down his mind and mouth over the next few days. N.E.

Ernie came along this morning on the pack walk! There was a big race going on so we took one of our normal routes but backwards! We stopped by Poe Mill Skate Park to encourage our dogs to try something new! All pack members are welcome go join us every Thursday and Saturday morning! We depart from the hotel at 10AM and we have a blast!

We had a blast this morning on our weekly pack walk! These are available to ANY AND ALL of our etiquette pack members! (Anyone who has completed our training programs) we stopped by Poe Mill Skatepark. While there weren't many skateboarders out, we got to encourage our dogs to try something new and potentially scary. Everyone did a great job!

Look at these good boys go! We went and played in our outdoor area with a bunch of toys, then I put everyone on place and started throwing the toys around. We play with the toys first, so they know that they can. We then use them as distractions to practice the place command! Aren't they good boys! 😍

Miss Louella went home yesterday! She worked so hard this week at calming down a bit, holding commands, and most importantly, her recall and leash manners. Her goal is to reach off leash freedom down the road! We can't wait to see her get there!

has been working hard to set her up for some off leash fun down the road! We recommend at least 6 months of structure, boundaries, and daily practice before ACTUALLY removing the leash. Safety first, then team work!

Next week, Megan will be hosting the Noble Academy from Tuesday to Friday! (July 27th-July 30th). Class will run from 8AM to 4PM on those days. The dogs are welcome to stay until we close each day, 4PM is just when the teacher goes home for the day! We will focus on impulse control and a whole lot of fun confidence building stuff! Two of our Canines from @canine_healing_project were testing out the obstacle course for tomorrow! We will be holding an AMATEUR Agility competition!
