This dog lives one heck of a good life. She’s traveled and she’s done some things many dogs will never do. She’s trained and ✨ mostly ✨ well disciplined 😅 She eats well, sleeps well and is very well taken care of. But most of all she is loved so so much. From the time she came home to us, to now and into her future until she leaves us, she will never second guess our love for her. She is spoiled rotten to her core, but we’re ok with that 🥰

Summer enrichment can be tough for dogs who are acclimated to the indoor life (my rotten heathens). We take short trips to the pond during the “cooler” time of day but sometimes it’s just too damn hot. I started making them these ice cube snacks and they REALLY enjoy them. Plus I can get creative and put all kinds of stuff in them. Last week they were made from diluted chicken bone broth and had pieces of bell pepper and summer squash that would’ve otherwise been discarded. I also threw in some blackberries that were gonna go bad before we could finish them. This week it’s plain water with leftover watermelon and jumbo blueberries. 🥰

Group 3 in the FSS OPN this morning at the The Brazos Valley Kennel Club AKC show! Jäger hasn’t been in the show ring since last June so he was a little rusty but he showed well against a great lineup of miscellaneous and FSS breeds! Two more shows to go! 💙
