We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue with an adoption facility and foster network for all breeds of dogs and cats in need in South Florida.

We have set the dates for our Third Annual Virtual Gala, Silent Auction and Raffle 🎟️ for April 25-27, 2025!

If there are any local businesses or supporters who would like to donate gift cards (restaurants, spas, stores etc), hotel stays, bottles of alcohol or other items for gift baskets… then please send us a message, we would love to hear from you! 🐾

In exchange for your donation, your company will be prominently recognized on our auction website and promoted on our social media channels prior to and during the event, helping to generate excitement and interest in your brand while supporting our rescue’s cause 😍

Last year’s event raised just over $30,000! For reference, we had about 100 items on the auction that all sold! All proceeds raised go directly towards helping the animals in our rescue as well as our community outreach programs to help bring affordable vet care to those in need! 🐶🐱

Sally (aka Sassy) is the sweetest & cutest 1 year terrier mix. She was found as a stray and weighs only 8lbs, full grown. She’s working on potty training and will often go towards the door when she wants out, if you see her. Her adorable underbite makes you want to smile and pick her up so who can get mad if she has an accident? 😇 However, someone with lots of patience is needed to deal with potty training 🥺🙏🏻

She sleeps with her foster mom in bed without any accidents, but she gets up early to go potty. She is friendly to all men, children, and medium to small dogs. Big dogs intimidate her. Sally loves to cuddle & lay by you on the couch 🥰 She has puppy energy & loves her toys & an occasional sock 🧦… if you’re not watching her 😉 She has a little separation anxiety if you leave, & she does not like a crate so an apartment is not suggested for her. She just had her check up/Spay/vetting and is available for adoption. Please apply online if you are interested in giving Sally a forever home 🏡

We are on a mission… A mission to GET SWEETHEART ADOPTED before she turns ONE 🥳

🚨NEW RESCUE ALERT 🚨

Meet Fidget and Nubz! These 2 cuties were surrendered to us because they were abandoned by their owner at a dog sitters house! 😭

Fidget is a 8 month old spaniel mix and Nubz is a 4 month old chihuahua mix. They are special needs and will need some special assistive devices to walk correctly. Fidget has one deformed leg and multiple toes missing on the other legs. Nubz has 2 very deformed 2 front legs 🥺

The boys were born this way and possibly the result of a backyard breeder. They are with Good Karma Pet Rescue now and we are already working on getting them the help they need to walk properly! These apparatuses will cost money… Please help us help the boys walk properly. Any amount will help 🙏🏻 We are not certain what the cost will be yet but custom made wheelchairs are not cheap ❤️

We had earlier but what about ? 😼 Our Torties want some love & attention too!

Meet Root! 😻

I was rescued as a 5-week-old kitten, and I am 2 years old now. I’ve been in the rescue for TWO YEARS now… maybe it was because of my tortitude ways when I was a kitten & teen 😅 The good news is I have seen the error of my ways and have been on my BEST behavior now! 😇

I am ridiculously chatty, always asking for pets & affection and demand to sleep right next to my humans 😽 If I see my foster mommy petting another cat, I sprint over to hijack the pets 😹 I'm very social and outgoing. My foster mommy says that I am cute, adorable, hilarious, and the chattiest kitty she ever met. I get along great with other cats, even if I do like to steal the limelight attention sometimes 😜 Please help me find my purrfect forever home! I love my foster family but I want to find a family to call my own 🩷

- Back at ya with another handsome tabby who’s looking for his forever home! 🤞🏻

Marley is a 1.5 year old male and FIV+. Marley was a friendly boy living at an industrial site where transportation cargo trucks reside 🚛 He would go right up to people and meow for their attention 🥹 Luckily for him, his foster mom had a spot open in her home and took him in. Now he’s ready to be adopted!

Marley is such a calm and sweet boy. From day one, he was easy to handle and well behaved. He will hop on the bed and literally hug you 😽 He has such a chill personality and gets along great with people and other cats…. YES, he CAN live peacefully with non-FIV cats as it’s only passed on through deep bite wounds… but Marley is a lover, not a fighter so no worries there 😌 He enjoys lounging around or bird watching out the window, and occasionally his playful side will come out. He's truly a dream and will make the perfect addition to any family ❤️

Why has this beautiful, 1.5 year old Calico girl been overlooked for a whole year? She’s sweet, cuddly, and advertised quite a bit so it’s definitely not for lack of trying 🥺

Corinna just wants to find a home to call her own. URGENT HELP NEEDED! 🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP!

This little cutie wandered up to a barn here in South Florida, all dirty & hungry and asking for help 🥺 Thankfully, the people who own the barn have kind hearts and let him stay in one of the stalls. A Good Samaritan stepped up and paid for him to go to the vet, where he was found to be a VERY GOOD BOY and also heartworm positive 💔

He's stuck in a horse stall, and while it's better than being out wandering, it's not a long-term solution. He needs your help!

What we know about him:

• About 30 lbs, but underweight

• Approximately 5 years old

• Good with other dogs & cats (he's come across both at the farm)

• Currently being treated for a skin infection and started heartworm treatment (neither are contagious)

Who can help so this good boy doesn't end up at animal control? 🙏🏻

‼️SWEET PEA ALERT‼️

Do you suffer from Asthma-like symptoms…? So does Sweet Pea! If you do, you know this should not make her any less desirable but unfortunately, it has 💔

Meet Sweet Pea, a 4.5-year-old petite beauty with a personality to match her name, and look at her beautiful green eyes! 😻 This cuddly little lady has been in our rescue almost her entire life, that’s OVER FOUR YEARS 😭 She’s hoping this will be the year her dreams of a forever home come true 🙏🏻

While she has an asthma-like breathing issue, Sweet Pea’s daily prednisone pill (which she takes like a champ) keeps her feeling great and she has a rescue inhaler just as a backup.

Sweet Pea loves snuggling up for Netflix marathons, playing with her favorite toys, and enjoying Churu treats. She is not a fan of dogs, but she is a total sweetheart at heart. She’s ready to bring her love and charm to a family of her own. Doesn’t everyone need a Sweet Pea in their home?! ❤️

🆘ELEANOR NEEDS A UNICORN FOSTER BY THIS WEEKEND🆘 Eleanor came to our rescue after being abandoned, tied a park bench in Miami 🥺 Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to get along with other animals. She’s currently with a temporary foster but they have other pets so Eleanor is locked in a spare room by herself 💔 The good news is… Eleanor is potty trained. She loves playing tug of war. She’s great with the foster’s husband and son. She’s a good dog. Just needs a loving home with someone who is patient. Eleanor is about 1.5 years old and about 15lbs. She would do best in a home, not an apartment or townhome because she does bark when initially left alone but that does subside. Kaiser came to us with a *huge* wound covering his head and neck, and he has done an amazing job of healing so far 🥹 But the stress on his body has taken its toll, and he came down with a respiratory virus that he can't seem to shake. Because he is FIV+, he is more vulnerable to illness and has a more difficult time beating this than your average cat, and he went downhill quickly. We rushed him to the vet, where they are doing x-rays and planning to consult with a specialist. Please help us cover this extra medical cost for this poor boy who has already come so far in his recovery! Our little buddy Diego, a 5-year-old Chihuahua, had a bit of a rough night 🥺 After his neuter surgery, later on in the evening, he started having several seizures 💔 We took him to Advanced Veterinary Care Center since our regular emergency vet was too far away. We're fundraising for his medical care. Our Story

Good Karma started in 2011 as a very small network of foster homes.

Since then, we have grown into a rather large network of foster homes, volunteers, pet adoption locations, and now in 2020 we will be adding a pet adoption center!

We rescue all breeds of cats and dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and any other type of animal that finds itself in need.
