I know I havent posted about Rocky in a while .. he is going for accupuncture, hydro therapy and chiropractic care... I do not see any improvement in his himd legs and he also started having seizures last week... he has had numerous tests run and his bloodwork and urine are fine.. he is in phenobarbitol and we have been adjusting the dose and he is seizure free for 3 days.... ❤️🐾
Rocky update.. i know i havent posted in a while.. but running a rescue takes alot of time and i work 5 days a week also. Rocky is growing like a w**d.. he gets massaged twice a day and goes in the 3ft kiddie pool at least 3 times a week. He stands while he eats and tries to walk on all 4 legs. He will be going for accupuncture, hydro therapy and whatever else they can do to help him beginning in july He's playful and loves to chew. I took him to the regular vet two weeks ago because he chewed alot of his tail off...the vet said it could be from having some feeling in tail and not knowing what it is.. his tail is healed and he now leaves it alone.
He eats goid and loves to romp in the grass with our Pyr Krystal... Krystal acts like his mom 🤣
His legs are starting to flex😍he stood the entire time to eat !!!!
He is trying to stand more and more😍🐾

Update on Rocky.... radiographs showed that number 4 and 5 vertabrae are crushed together and healed. Surgery will do nothing for him. His joints and muscles and tendons in his back legs are like they are because of the injury.. if he had been treated when first noticed, he would have most likely been fine, but since nothing was done , this is how he will be . He will be doing physical therapy .. accupuncture, chiropractic and hydotherapy once he arrives in nj. I will have to express his bladder 4's a day everyday for the rest of his life... he will have to have urine tests frequently to make sure there is no bacteria in urine. I have committed to Rocky and will give him the best life possible. His vitals and urine are good.. his appetite is excellent... I'm so very upset and also extremely angry that he didnt get the care he needed

just got off phone with ER doctor rocky's legs very rigid, but he can stand alittle and move them and wag his tail which are good signs.. Rocky will be seen by neurology by noon today... Dr Mauer will call me to discuss next steps.
