🐾Refitting leashes and harnesses to fit snug
⭐️Checking ID tags/collars are on pets and have current info
🐾Leashing pets before opening doors
⭐️All windows and doors closed/locked (cats especially push out of screens)
🐾Any kennel, crates, stables secure
⭐️Any pet medications for anxiety filled
🐾Having client emergency contact forms

HOT CARS KILL: Please do not leave your child or pet in a vehicle. It only takes "a few minutes" for the air inside the car to reach harmful or deadly temperatures. "I was only gone a few minutes" is the #1 excuse given by drivers when we find animals and children in distress in hot vehicles. THANK YOU!!!

SIGNS LIKE THIS: For those of you calling and messaging about getting this sign, Dawn at Coastal Press 1706 Arendell St Morehead City NC (252) 726-1549 is the company that made them. $20 (It is a 2 sided sign such as to be used like a yard sign). She said that all proceeds will be donated back into animal services! Signs must be picked up from the shop or Police Department (No Shipping)
