We will be adding two little feet (human feet) to our family come November 🤍
Alot of people have asked what this means for Ruff Life!
While we will be taking a little time to rest and enjoy our little newborn we will still be continuing care for your pets. We have hired a part time employee who will fill our shoes in-case of emergency or whenever little babe decides to arrive. She will also be offering in-home pet sitting services and overnight visits to help take a little pressure off us as we prepare for baby. 🤍👶🏼
Services however will be limited between November-December so PLEASE if you are wanting to book care for your pets during those months contact us as early as possible to ensure we get you covered. 🐾🐶

Unfortunatley I found a deceased dog on the road in front of my house/4250s road this morning. It has been moved off of the road and covered with a tarp.
It is a brindle/white pittie mix.Green collar/no tag. I have pictures if anyone thinks this is their dog but the pictures are graphic. Please contact me privately for photos.
Kancom has been notified and will be on their way to pick up the dog 🐶😭🤍
With alot of hard work, a little luck, and lots of help we managed to pull off TWO seperate markets yesterday!
Temperatures in the 90's made for a very warm day but we still had tons of fun and enjoyed seeing everyone out!

Nicole is the owner of her own Small Business- used bookstore here in Kankakee! Rubber Rose Books & Print. She has been a close friend of ours for years and is our personal dog sitter when we go on vacations.
We are so incredibly greatful for all of the love and support you all have shown us and our business over the past couple of years! This summer had been increasingly busy and we have had to turn alot of people down due to being fully booked months in advance! Nicole will be working for us part time assisting with evening Drop In Visits and allowing us to open up our services to reintegrate IN- HOME OVERNIGHT PET CARE 🤍

A Day in the Life of a professional Pet Sitter! We got to hang out with SO MANY DOGS today and we wouldn't have it any othwr way 🤍🐶🐾
Last week Heaven received a beautiful soul cross over the rainbow bridge. 🌈 🐶 Chloe the oldest of her sister trio (who I call "the golden girls" was my very first "official client" when I launched my business back in 2022. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for seniors but Chloe instantly grabbed ahold of my families hearts. Over the past few years watching over Chloe and her sisters we have watched her age alongside my son who was a new born when they first met. They were instant bestfriends. Probably because he liked to share his food with her any chance he got, and Chloe never turned down a snack. We as a family spent lots of time hanging out with the Golden Girls. From early morning coffe dates, To late night movie nights, and even getting the cops called on us one time. 😭 One of the things I love most about this job is that I get to enter the lives of so many dogs, and be the person who will love your dogs unconditionally as if they are my own. However, it's also one of the things I hate about this job because when a "client" loses a dog, we lose a dog. You and your dogs are our family. And you and your dogs are why we do this. I wish I could have met Chloe in her early years, but I am so honored to have been the one trusted to take care of her in her final years, and to have had the privilege of knowing such a special, and loved Dog. The "Golden Girls" wont be the same with out you Chloe. But we promise to take care of your sisters! We hope you are running through fields of cookies and french fries. 🤍🐶🌈 Love, Ruff Life 🐾

What an amazing year it was. I was to thank each and everyone who supported my small business either through buying treats at the markets, trusting me with your pups while you were on vacation or simply telling people about us. It is such an honor to be able to do what I love and fill such a need in the community! I unfortunatley couldn't fit in all the dogs I was lucky enough to hang out with this year but I hope you see your pups and I cant wait to see how much Ruff Life grows in 2024!!
