Payday is now up for adoption! She is another pretty little girl, she is a screamer... every time you try to handle her she speaks her mind, but calms down once she realizes you’re not a threat. She’s definitely a spunky little one!

My pretty girl, Mozzarella! She is Muenster’s cage mate, and she was seen in Muenster’s post. She is an albino dumbo ear rat, which means she is at least partially blind... she does struggle with her eyesight, which leads to her being very timid and shy. We have been working on taming with her reaching into my hand for treats, and crawling onto blankets that I am holding! Her favorite food is banana, but strawberries and blueberries are close runner ups. I think we’ll be seeing more posts of her soon as she warms up to being held!

New babies! These babies are from our previous fosters, Coconut and Cookie. There are 10+, and they are long haired Syrians. About a week and a half today, they haven’t opened their eyes but have been crawling around and sampling solid foods!

Another of our new ratties, this Swiss. She is an augoti dumbo ear rat, along with her sisters, Cheddar and Gouda. They are 5 months old, and have some growing yet to do. Swiss is extremely food oriented, she will wake up to the sound of the treat jar. Out of her sisters she is the shyest, and doesn’t like to be held much. Hopefully we can work on taming and get her to be fully socialized soon!

Meet one of our new additions, Muenster! She is a very sweet black rat. She is very outgoing and personable. She loves to be held, and to be given treats. Bananas and scrambled eggs are her favorite foods, and sleeping is her favorite pass time. She lives with her sister, Mozzarella (who will get her own post, too), and they are both 10 months old. They were rescued from a neglectful situation and fostered before they came to us. I can’t wait to see them get more comfortable here and become wonderful little ladies! 🐭🐀🐁
