Buddy's Healing Paws helps fund expensive and life-saving procedures for pets so no pet parent has to decide whether or not to get the procedure done based on finances.

We are so excited to auction off a virtual meet and greet with Torrey DeVitto! Torrey stars in the NBC series “Chicago Med.” She just finished shooting a project called ‘Divertimento’ with director Keyvan Sheikhalishahi. She has appeared in “The Vampire Diaries,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Beautiful People” and “One Tree Hill.” ..
All proceeds will go to Buddy's Healing Paws, a 501(c)3 non-profit striving to help pet owners afford any and all medical procedures for their pets! ..

Having a pet means taking on the responsibility of another life. They're not just an accessory that can be left on a shelf, they must be fed, loved, and cared for. This means taking them to the vet regularly and giving them medical care when they need it. Vet bills are costly, sometimes more than our own medical bills, but as pet owners, we dedicate ourselves to making sure our fur-babies have the best possible life and care. Our financial lives don't always have the same agreement with us.

Surgeries and even some medications are often more than we can afford, and not all pet insurance companies will cover them. In fact, even if they do, pet owners are expected to cover the upfront cost and submit the bill to their insurance companies with the hope that it will be reimbursed. It's a gamble and it only adds to the stress of having a sick pet.

I went through this with my own dog, and without the support of fellow pet lovers like you, I never would have been able to afford the surgery she desperately needs. But I am not alone in this. Right now, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of pet owners who need to get their pets medical attention but are unable to afford it. This leaves a weight on them heavier than anything imaginable. We can put a stop to this, we CAN help them!

With your donations, countless pets can get much needed, and life-saving, procedures that they might not otherwise be able to have. Each donation goes 100% towards helping a pet owner in need and no amount is too small.

Pets are not just animals who live with us, they are a part of our families. The love shared between an owner and his/her pet is unconditional and uncomplicated. We love them as we would our own children and as such, would do anything to protect them and keep them safe.

Buddy always had a great, great love of adventure. When he was a wee babe of just 12 weeks he was so, so tiny. He was "the runt" of the litter, as they say. Because he was so tiny he couldn't see out...

This sweet girl, Missy, is approximately 2-years-old and is a Shepherd mix. She comes from NY Pet Rescue in Harrison.

She’s extremely sweet and gentle with her foster family and is just waiting and hoping to find her forever home.

She’s great with kids and is getting along with her foster brothers. All she needs now is a loving family to give her the life she deserves!

In light of Governor Cuomo’s announcement this morning stating that 100% of non essential workers are to work from home, I will be postponing all in-person training sessions for, at least, the next 2 weeks.

I will be offering online classes and sessions for those clients who are interested, otherwise we will resume training when this executive order has been lifted.

ATTENTION!!!

Due to the growing concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the Governor’s executive order for 75% of the workforce to stay home, I will be making a decision by the end of the day as to whether or not I will be postponing in-person trainings and moving to an online learning platform for the next two weeks.

I will keep everyone posted and will be messaging my clients individually with my decision.
