Champagne Poached Pears 🍐 🍾✨

Recipe
5 small unripe pears
1 cup sugar
1 bottle champagne

- Peel the pears, keeping the stems intact.
- Pour the sugar and champagne into a pot. Stir until sugar has fully dissolved then increase heat and bring to a boil.
- Once the poaching liquid has come to a boil, reduce the heat again and add the pears.
- Cover the pears completely with a piece of baking paper and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.
- Allow to cool completely or serve warm with cream, ice-cream or cake with a drizzle of poaching liquid.

Beef Bourguignon! Is a beef stew braised in red wine, and beef stock. Typically flavored with carrots, onions, garlic and a bouquet garni, and garnished with pearl onions, mushrooms and bacon, and served with pappardelle noodles. The garlic, onions and parsley in this recipe are from The Little Boom Farm.

Beef in a Basket (Spring Rolls) 1lb Little Boon Farm Ground Beef – 80% Lean 2 tbs Rice Vinegar 3 tbs Soy Sauce 2 tbs Corn Oil 1 tbs Sugar Salt & Pepper to taste 3 Cups Sliced Little Boon Farm Cabbage 2 Cups Shredded Carrots 1 package of Egg Roll Wraps 4-5 cups of Vegetable Oil Heat corn oil in saucepan before browning ground beef with the rice vinegar & soy sauce. Add carrots, cabbage & sugar and cook at medium heat until vegetables are soft and chewy (5-7 Min). Heat vegetable oil in saucepan and follow instructions on egg roll wrap package. Add beef mixture and place in heated oil. Turn as needed and cooking until golden brown (1-2 Minutes)
