Over the weekend we took Laila on some hiking trips in New Hampshire. She did absolutely amazing. On packed trails with multiple people to reactive dogs trying to show their dominance. She didn't even let them phase her. Just goes to show her great temperament and training we put in place. She was there to to take in the beauty with her family and rock climb. Even though she jumped on a wall where the other side of the wall was a cliff I almost needed to use one of the dog p**p bags for myself but her amazing balance was there for her to take in the views. We took on some tuff terrain hiking up a waterfall. Even seen a golden retriever biting his leash and pulling his owner back in fear where Laila was just jumping from rock to rock to make it to the top of Dianas Bath.

🇮🇹 Some brief history of the Cane Corso and why we chose the name Campione Cane Corso🇮🇹

The Cane Corso’s history goes back to ancient Rome, and beyond. Most experts believe they’re descended from the now-extinct Greek Molossus dogs and later, after being bred with fighting dogs from England, they became the Roman “Pugnaces” (a category of dogs used for attacking wild animals). Historically, they fought alongside Roman legions, hunted boar and other prey, and, later, guarded flocks, property, and people on farms.

The Corso almost went extinct after World War II but experienced a resurgence in Italy in the 1970s. Thanks to the Malavasi brothers and a hand full of others who brought back the Italian Mastiff we all grew to love today.

Campione means champion in italian.
We are going to strive to breed champions because champions aren’t born they're bred.

This is our beautifuly well bred foundation female - Float like a Butterfly Stings like a Bee Ms. Layla Ali, that we received from Alpha & Omega Cane Corso.
She is currently 11 months old, weighing in at 95 pounds!

This beautiful girl still has another year to grow. So we still have another year before we are able to get her health tested and bred.
