I was fortunate enough to get Sammy on a few birds the last couple days. This youngster made it through our started dog program this past summer and might just get to stay. Sired by Erin's Grey Justice(Son of Rebel Heir) x a daughter of Showtime Sam Houston. Super nose and looks good traveling and on point. Super excited about her future.

We are getting outstanding reviews on Guardrail Shadow's pups. This pup is owned by David Lindsey of Oklahoma and couldn't be in better hands. No surprise she is going to be an exceptional bird finder. Her pedigree consists of Guardrail, Crows Little Joe, and Honkytonk Attitude.

We had a great morning at Quail Creek Hunting Preserve. . It's become a yearly tradition to spend a morning at Gary's during the holidays. It's a great quick getaway with the kids, especially with their busy schedules. Chukars were fast and plentiful. We had some excellent pictures of the girls on birds this morning. When talking about good dogs the females are often overlooked. Everyone always asks about the sire and ignores the dam. As an old timer once told me"Never forgot about the female, she is a major part of the equation too". Happy holidays to everyone and stay safe!
