Willow has been a magnificent guardian. Well she had never been introduced to pigs before a month ago, when one of the sows started having piglets she lay just five or six feet away keeping an eye on them and has kept an eye on the piglets since they were born. Her incredible mothering instinct and guardian has even kept some of our other guardian dogs away from the pigs. She is just nothing but the best.

This is Wolfgang, he is our number one guarding machine. Willow runs the perimeter, Gino backs up Wolfgang, kuau is a big vocal backup but with a bamf of a bark. Such a good crew.

This is Gino, he is been particularly good with the livestock lately. We worked with him this winter spring and summer. We're very excited about his incredible and kind intuition.

It's a beautiful morning, One of the best I've had in a long time, up early and cooking for my dogs and our rescue pups. Having a special meal this morning is we patiently await our dog food delivery which of course is late. I hope to have more mornings like this throughout the summer. Here's a little snapshot of our special recipe.
-Four cups rice
-15 lb of chicken thighs,
-30 our own farm fresh chicken and duck eggs
-two handfuls of fresh spinach
-4 carats slightly cooked
-bacon grease or coconut oil today it's bacon grease
-a little oregano
-(I like to add cooked sweet potato but I was out)
