We just introduced our new breeding pair to each other. This is Thor and lightening!

Thor is 66% leu/plat 25% cremino and comes from double pied lines. Lightening is 100% leu/plat and 66% cremino. We can’t wait to see what they produce!

So excited!!!! We got 2 more gliders in last night, going today to get a vet check, we give them 24-36 hours to acclimate to the new surroundings and keep the quarantined for 2 weeks, just To make sure there isn’t any health issues. They are going to the vet today to get checked out then again next week to be sure, but we are so excited to have Lincoln and Octavia joining the shire!

We have a female black beauty thats 66% creme and 33% leu…mom and dad proved Leu. And a male that is BFWF 100% leu/plat and 25%creme.

Would anyone be interested in a breeding pair? We have not paired them yet, but will be soon…..oop on the male is 4/09 and the female is 4/18

Please, do not buy exotic pets from a pet store. Especially Sugar Gliders. Did you know that there were only 50 gliders brought over to the US as the original group of breeders? The lines are so thin that you could actually get a brother from Texas but the sister from North Carolina. Breeders trust and rely on a website called The Pet Glider. Any reputable breeder would provide you with proof of lineage, showing the gliders family lines.

There are numerous reasons not to buy ftom a pet store,, but here is a list of a few of them:

1. Pet stores don’t have the proper care and setup, as they only expect the animal to be there a short time.

2. Pet stores buy from inexperienced back yard breeders, or mill breeders. These pets have zero lineage and has a high chance of being in**ed.

3. They aren’t handled very often, so the demeanor can be luck of the draw.

4. Pet stores don’t have the knowledge of correct diets. Most of the time, they will feed a simple and cheap diet just to keep them alive long enough to sell them.

These are just a few reasons why pet stores are a horrible option when it comes to pets. Spend a little more to a breeder, and you won’t have to worry about high vet bills or possibly losing a pet due to illness.
