We at Dandy Whiskers are taking a break from fostering. It will be temporary and other services will be fullfilled to the best of our ability. Our foster program will be up and running again in time, but this year we have faced many losses and it hurts so deeply. Myself and my staff need a grieving period to heal. As each kitten/ cat that has been brought into my care is loved so deeply, the holes that have been left behind are large and fracturing.
An honorable mention to the beautiful babies we lost this calendar year.

You will forever be a loved member of my family and I will never forget the smiles you brought to everyone. I’m sorry for the loss of these souls because they were loved by many.

I will reopen the Foster group in time. For now it remains undetermined. Thank you all for your understanding.

Hello everyone! These 2 sweet babies need to find a home. Their current foster mom Jane is looking for a home for these two. Separate or together. They are around 5 months old. The tabby on the left is a girl. And the black and white furball is a boy. They are a little shy, but very sweet.
She is looking for families that will keep them indoors and have no large dogs. Let me know if your interested.

Just remember with any new family member it could take a few weeks for them to decompress and start showing you the same love you have shown since the beginning!

Kitten season is upon us, so as a PSA, I would like to tell everyone how they can help.
If you find " Abandoned kittens"
1. Place a ring of flour around them, check back in 4 hours and if the flour is distributed has paw prints you know mama is caring for them do not remove. Mama's can leave their babies to get food and hunt please understand if they are alone they are not always abandoned.
2. If mom does not come back reach out to a local rescue who can help. There are many pages full of rescues and fosters.
3.keep babies dry and warm a heating pad on low with a towel over it and a space they can scoot of the heat as well. You can also use socks with rice.
4. Kittens can not have cows milk this can hurt the kittens please do not give. Almost any pet store has KMR or some kind of replacement milk.
5. Kittens can not go to the bathroom on there own they must be stimulated.
6. Please make note where kittens are found so we can go and TNR trap neuter and release to stop the cycle

Alrighty ladies and gentlemen. This lady is taking a break from fostering until next season. All of my fosters have found their homes and now it’s time to restock and get ready for the new wave that will hit in the coming months. Thank you to everyone who adopted these beautiful boys! They will be well loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives.

Today Bolin and LittleFoot found their forever homes. I’m gonna miss these boys. But the cycle had completed with them. From rescue to adoption these boys will always have a place in my heart.

Just listen to this boy purr! He is THE purr machine. You even say his name and the purrs begin. He’s is the sweetest little boy. He loves to fall asleep in the laundry basket and snuggle up on you while you sleep. He is also a sweet little alarm clock. When my daughter wakes up he goes and gives her sweet head bumps and kisses to make her smile when she wakes up. Ugh this boy is too sweet! My sweet baby Bolin!

Hello everyone. These perfect little boys are ready for their forever homes! They have been fixed, vetted and have healed with no issues.
I’m a proud momma. These boys have come such a long way and are so ready for their forever humans to whisk them away.

Meet Bolin!
This sweet hunk is ready to find his forever home!
He is so chatty and very food motivated. He loves to play with feather toys and rough house with his brothers. He loves to climb up on you and force his love upon you. He gives nose kisses and loves to be pet at all times. This boy is always purring.
He’s the most independent of the 3 brothers and loves to explore and hangout on the Catio often.
He loves to meet new people and invade their space with his love.

Meet LittleFoot
He is the smallest of the litter We pulled from the streets in July.
He is still a bit smaller than his brothers but he is the absolute sweetest little guy.
He is a laze about, and is happy laying with you whenever you are. There isn’t a moment in the day I don’t have this furry shadow following me around insisting on love.
He gives kisses and head boops.
He is so gentle, even when aggressively giving kisses, he holds your hand between his fluffy paws ever so gently.
He loves cat trees and forehead kisses.

Meet Bandit.
Bandit was taken off the streets in July when he was about 5 weeks old. We took him in with his 2 brothers and he was in the worst condition.
Due to a terrible eye infection he lost about 90% of his vision.
But don’t let that fool you. He is the best little soccer player in the league.
He loves to play with his ball and carries it around. He drools when he’s getting pets and loves to give kisses and head boops and slam his whole body against you for love.
P.S. He is also a professional baker. He specializes in air biscuits, and he only charges you endless belly rubs.
