All of our pups have found new homes!

Two more pups went to their new homes today! We are down to one little boy who is still looking for his forever home! We’ve been calling him Snip because of the white marking on his nose. He’s a sweetie!

Three of our pups went to the their new homes today! One to a local farming neighbor, KD Farms, so it will be fun to see him running around having lots of farming adventures! We still have five adorable pups left- 3 girls and 2 boys!

The puppies just keep getting cuter! These are awesome farm dogs because they love their people and stick close by as a result. They won’t run off like other breeds to explore the neighborhood. The puppies’ parents are 24/7 outdoor farm dogs and they love their lives because they have room to run and play. If you have the space for them to run outside and things for them to do, they will love their home and never want to leave it. Our pups are very well socialized with animals and kids alike. The pups are finally ready to start looking for new homes! They are currently six weeks old and can go to their new homes at eight weeks old, which is June 7. Our pups are purebred but not registered. Both of their parents live with them and you can see them when you come to look at the pups in person if you wish. They are outside farm dogs and love their jobs as farm patrollers. Pups do not have any shots but have been wormed. Very familiar and friendly with kids. We are asking four hundred for them with a down payment of fifty to hold them for you for the next two weeks. Deposit is non refundable. The puppies are three weeks old now and their eyes are open. They are learning to walk and are practicing their first puppy barks!

The puppies are growing! Nearly two weeks old and starting to crawl around! One ambitious little black and white male pup has been found outside the doghouse three times already 🤣Their eyes aren’t open yet but will be soon. The proud parents keep a close eye on them. Sadly we lost one of the nine at three days old because it got shuffled out of the pile overnight. The remaining eight are doing well- there are four red and white and four black and white.

Trixie and Sampson have their first litter on the ground and Trixie is doing great for a first time mom! 9 pups!

I finally got around to brushing out all three border collies and holy moly what a mess of hair! Every spring/usually it’s summer by the time I get to it) border collies need their winter undercoat of down brushed out so they can chill for the summer in their thinner overcoat of hair. If you don’t do it every year, they will get mats in the undercoat and that’s unhealthy for their skin and impossible to brush out. I think I missed brushing Sugar last year because she had sooo many mats😩 I had to cut off her overcoat to be able to get to the mats in the undercoat. But now she’s all brushed and fluffed and her new overcoat can grow in healthier.

Sugar (on the right) and Sampson (on the left)are the proud mother and father of our past litters. Sugar has had six wonderful litters in the past six years for us and has earned her retirement. Her replacement, a stunning red and white female named Trixie, will be bred by Sampson and hopefully expecting her first litter in 2024. She is currently only 7 months old and is busy growing up and learning the ropes from Sugar. The two years from now date is because we want to let her fully mature at age 2 before breeding her to Sampson.
