zing. As I've gotten older I'm slowing down and taking on more help, especially at shows as my everything all hurts. So you might get to meet Sue. Covid sent me into a bad spiral and I wasn't able to do anything that whole time between personal health, mental health and my mothers decline and passing due to Cancer. Im getting back on the horse so to speak and still working on getting all of everything organized before I take on any more customer repairs, but by 2023 should have everything that was in limbo managed. I'm still not super active on here, but If you like something comment interested and then PM me your email address. I will send you a secure PayPal invoice and ship your item out to you. (Typically Fridays - I work full time and the Post Office is closed by the time I start and before I get off work. And Saturdays it's rare I don't have a show)

Tiki Oasis video walk through of my display for the weekend. Open and set up on time! :-o there's always more backstock to refill the displays but that's going to wait till later. I was able to get my display trays all FIXED so they're not falling apart anymore WooHoo! Doors open in 2 minutes

Walk through Tour of my set up from Altavia Anniversary yesterday.
I didn't take still photos but I like videos better anyhow.
I still have a lot of restocking to do, but I did refill a quite a bit of the hooks display that was looking so sparse.

Have two tables to repair and I'm planning on purchasing two more ahead of Potrero war since my booth size is 30x15... or 20 by 20 depending how I set up.
It was nice one of the merchant stewards from a future event came up to ask if I was interested in joining them at their event and I was able to say actually I have been in contact with you, nice to meet you and she was able to put a face and a booth with the email and application.

I'm definitely getting to the point I need to hire someone for set up and tear down on the regular... the gentleman i used earlier this year who was awesome unfortunately wasn't available for yesterday nor for Potrero.. my body is protesting more and longer after shows, so apparently I'm getting too old for this? I'm not even 40 and financially no where near retirement so.. suck it up buttercup! Hahaha. No pain no gain, right?

There's something to be said for shows you can drive right up to the booth to set up.

Sadly my hypo Cement won't be arriving until Monday.

My hypo Cement is hiding. Probably have 4 or 5 tubes "somewhere"
1 or 2 will be nearly full as they were recently opened and the others will be mostly used up... but they are all winning the hide n seek game.
So I gave in and ordered 4 more tubes. One to keep at home with the repair rhinestones, one to keep at work for when I want to get a few quick fixes handled on my breaks, one for in my Sales Bag that has EVERYTHING I need (spare cards, bags, spare batteries, spare pens, spare tools, alcohol, etc.) And one for use now in my current project pile.
Hopefully I find the others along the way or at least manage not to loose all of these in the next 6 months or so...

In the mean time since I am low on common sizes of small and tiny clear rounds, yesterday evening I went through some of my recently acquired bags of unsorted parts and pieces to pull the loose rhinestones and harvest pieces. I didn't find enough of what I need, so I spent my breaks and lunch harvesting some so that when my glue gets here I can get back to work on my repairs pile.

PS. My fingers are RAW from pulling so many prongs!

I wasn't going to get a chance to work tonight as hubby was home before me and was in need of attention. Sometimes it's easy to neglect my personal life when there's so much that needs to be done for my business and the only time to work on it is when I am home from work. Which coincidentally is the only time I have for chores, pets, self care and maintaining a healthy relationship with my husband. There's definitely not enough time in a day for all of it. This is why my friends have to schedule time with me or I rarely see them. I'm far too often booked.

But that repair pile that's been haunting me is going to get worked on if it kills me! At my yardsale I had two tubes of the hypo Cement 1 nearly full and one well used, but I haven't been able to locate where they ran off to since then.

Tomorrow (this morning actually ) I have lab and then lunch with hubby and our weekly D&D night. So I don't andicipate productivity Saturday. Sunday after I drop him off at 5am I am going to head down to San Diego a bit early to miss traffic and will set up early if I can and If I can't I'll find some place to work on the repair pile - if hypo Cement has arrived. Otherwise I'll have to resort to crafting. Which I'd prefer to get these repairs done over making new things. At least the customer stuff and the easy fixes that only need a couple stones to be made whole again. It takes less time to get more products available to do quick fixes than it takes to craft something new.

Here's hoping the hypo Cement arrives in todays mail so I can work on that pile Sunday!
