Would anyone like to claim this sweet baby. A Good Samaritan brought him in earlier in the week with this can stuck on his head. He found him at the corner of 898 and CR 1410. He was dehydrated so we kept him and got him back to feeling better. We are lovingly calling him “Nacho” for the time being💙

We spent this week celebrating our amazing ladies upfront for Veterinary reception week (which was tech last week), but minor details. They enjoyed little surprises, several treats and eats and the grand finale today! Mrs.Roberts was more than willing to help celebrate our Rockstar receptionists!! We always say they have the hardest job in the joint and they do it beautifully! We love you guys and thank you for everything you do for the clinic, our patients and clients. How's this for a makeover?!!! Photo on the left shows the adorable but heavily matted condition this little dog was in when we pulled him out of the shelter last week. Photo on the right is after the good folks at Bonham Veterinary Clinic got him cleaned up. He must surely feel better now that his eyes and ears have been cleared of mats so that he can see and hear again. We'll be looking forward to following his progress to see how he looks once his coat comes back in and is properly groomed.

Photo credit to Rachael, who also picked him up from the shelter, took him to the vet, and then transported him to our friends at Big Dog Rescue Project, who will make him available for adoption once his vetting is complete. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram!

We will be open with limited services this Friday (4/12/24). Dr.Avery and Dr.Cummings will both be gone to a meeting and Dr.Cox is unable to fill in and will not be on premises. We will be open and available for prescription refills and tech appointments. If you have an emergency or an urgent need the receptionist will have numbers/addresses available for emergency care should that be necessary. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding.

It is with tremendous sadness we share with you the passing of our clinic kitty, mascot and resident bully “S***ter”. Tragically, Tuesday evening S***ter presented in distress and rapidly developed a condition that could not be treated. We were all taken by surprise and are devastated by her passing. She was a great asset to our clinic. Always providing us with countless laughs and smiles. She was never too big on lots of loving, but lived for sneak attacks. We will miss watching her bully and attack the staff, intimidate our canine patients, jump out of drawers or from behind random objects. We were blessed to have her. RIP S***t S***t

What a happy ending for this little pumpkin.
(Can you spot the kitty??😝) This little baby was brought to us lifeless with a temp and a glucose too low to read. Non responsive with a heartbeat we could barely hear. A little intensive care and a WHOLE LOT of TLC from Alex and now he’s happy and making biscuits❤️
