What Has Been Keeping These Women So Busy?
Just eight weeks after Linda’s untimely passing, we are still hard at work. Lilly, Jack, Luna and Snickerdoodle have been successfully adopted. Mufasa, Brody and Gigi are in our foster care, leaving Nola Grace and Chloe still residing in Linda’s home for another week or two. Of all the dogs, Nola Grace has proven to be the most challenging to place—but we remain determined and hopeful.
At present, Sandy has 5 foster dogs at her house (plus 5 of her own), Sharon has 1 foster with 2 on the way (plus 3 of her own). We have 4 dogs in foster care that require regular vet visits and usually require specialized food.
As we continue to wait for PNC to fully reimburse the funds that were stolen from the Healy Pack account our vet bills have been adding up, already nearing the $3,000 mark.
We are also STILL working with Paypal to release the donations into our account. In the meantime, we have set up a new Paypal account where we hope to raise additional funds.
It feels as though we are still putting out fires, still cleaning out Linda’s house and sharing her belongings … and we’re still looking for foster families.
The RV located in Inverness, needs to be moved to St Pete to Sharon’s backyard in an area that will be fenced off for Nola Grace and Chloe and future dogs too. We will need fencing and repairs to the RV so that it can be driven to St. Pete, which of course all adds up. Any RV mechanics out there, or someone able to tow a 24' C class RV?
As always, your amazing support is what keeps Healy Pack going. Please let us know if you are able to foster a senior or perhaps you know someone who might be interested.
Thank you and thank you again.
Sharon, Sandy and Anne.
