UPDATE: Pookie was not able to have the surgery yesterday due to when they put him under anesthesia they realized his tounge was very swollen. They do not know why.

They gave him an antibiotic and a steroid shot to try and reduce the swelling. The final bill was 350 if anyone would be so kind as to help us with that.

We will work with the vets to determine a plan going forward and keep you updated on this sweet boy!!

Please keep our Pookie in your prayers today!! He has two growths under his tounge that are being removed today!

He has been eating ok, but it's been a challenge. This guy has had a rough journey.

He is the absolute sweetest boy and we love him very much!

We are very low on funds, so if you could help us with this with cost we would be so grateful!

What could be cuter than Elvis in a bowl?? Elvis is one of the kitties that we have been treating for FIP!! We are so thankful that the treatment is much more affordable now than it has been, but it's still costly when you are treating multiple cats. We currently have 8 cats under treatment!!

UPDATE: We are heartbroken to let you all know that Dusty lost his fight last night. He was such a fighter and we are devastated at this loss. We are so thankful for everyone at SoCal Animal Hospital for their kindness and their compassion for a tiny kitten. He was small in size but huge in heart!!! Thank you all for loving him as much as we do!!

It's been very hectic for us. Wanted to give you an update on Serenity and her two Boyd. As you can see Derek is doing well. Serenity is also doing well!!

Dusty is not doing as well. We are back at the vet. His eyes are infected, we have been draining them and medicating. We have had to start tube feeding. He is a fighter and we will continue to fight for him!!

Please pray for this little guy!!

UPDATE: Dr. Means is happy with Derek & Dusty's progress. Pookie has a mass under his tounge that is the cause of the drooling. She advised that they can remove it. We will get that done in the near future.

We are back at the vet!! Getting Dusty and Derek a recheck. Mama Destiny is doing well, so she stayed home.

We also brought Pookie!! He's an older cat. He's lived a life. Has an eartip, so at one point he was an outside cat. His tal is very wonky, not sure what happened to it.

Brought him in because he's been drooling the last few days, so want to get him checked out!! He's an absolute sweetheart!!

UPDATE: We are devastated to let everyone know that Dusty lost his fight on February 21st!! Destiny and Derek are doing very well!!

Mama Destiny and her two littles have come down with upper respiratory infection. We are at the vet, to get this little family feeling better!!

It's been a very rough week for us, wanted to share Eve....she's the kitten that was left on our front porch in a box December 20th.

She's definitely an outgoing personality, she likes to be pet but not held...lol. She fits right in with the other kittens.

If you are wanting to add an independent, funny, opinionated kitten to your family, Eve is your girl.

She will be getting spayed in the next few weeks.

2/9/25 Update: We are very heartbroken to let you all know that our sweet Birdy girl lost her fight. A wonderful friend and fellow rescuer took over her care for us, but sadly on February 5th Birdy crossed the Rainbow Bridge! We've been processing everything. ❤️💔

2/2/25 Update: Thank you to those who have donated!! Birdy is home. We brought her home on Friday morning. Our final total for VEG was about $3100.

We are treating her with an aggressive FIP protocol.
She did begin having seizures over the weekend which is not unusual for the type of FIP that she has. We have gotten those pretty close to under control.

She's a fighter and doing better each day, even though it's a slow healing process. She is actively eating, we are syringe feeding her a slurry mixture!! We are so thankful for all the prayers and support.

We are coming to you with a plea for help!! Birdy, one of our cats got very sick Tuesday evening. We initially thought that she had an upper respiratory infection, but by Wednesday afternoon we realized that it was much more serious.

We took her to Veterinary Emergency Group in Anaheim Hills and she was admitted. She was lethargic, not wanting to eat and generally in bad body condition.

The first day of hospitalization came to $2300. We were fortunate enough to be able to pay that initial bill. It was determined that Birdy is fighting a combination of FIP. She is fighting a combination of Dry,Wet and Neuro. FIP is a horrible disease and we sadly have had too much experience with it.

We are very thankful that the Vet is open to discussing the case with one of our colleagues who is very familiar and very knowledgeable in treating this. We are working with the vet to get Birdy stabilized enough to bring her home to continue to treat the FIP with the tools that we have at our disposal.

Our bill for the second day of hospitalization is a balance of $1791.65. The total for the two days is $4182.16.

We are a small rescue and this is a huge blow for us. Any and all donations are appreciated.

Derek and Dusty are doing well and opened their eyes last night!! So happy that we were in a position to help the family!!

We are very happy to report that we were able to trap mama, now named Destiny, and reunite her with the babies.

The first night here she wasn't interested in taking care of them, so we let her relax and get comfortable. We took care of them but left them with her. The next morning we put them with her and she took over.

She's a very good mama and a friendly girl!!

We are thankful for the help of several people to make this happen.

We always make every effort to keep families together!!

Well, kitten season has begun!! Meet Derek and Dusty. They were with their mama at Corona City Hall. We got involved and with a small team of people we tried to get mama trapped.
Unfortunately it was a busy area and we weren't able to get her. We took the babies in because we hadn't seen mama for quite a while so didn't feel comfortable leaving them. We will continue to work to get mama.

We don't condone taking kittens without mama.

These four kitties will be going in today to get spayed/neutered!! As with everything, prices at the clinic that we go to have gone up. Each cat for the basic procedure will cost 95 each. Today will run us 380. If you would like to help us defray the cost, we would be very grateful.

Every dollar we raise goes directly to the cats and kittens, as we are 100% volunteer!!!
