Two kittens are available at Happy Cats Haven shelter in Manitou Springs, CO. They are alley cats, not purebred, but one looks like a lilac, a rare color. They are Sybil and Sterling, bonded pair, $500 for both. Their info is not on their website yet, so you get the first peek. One of the owners who has 2 cats from us recently run into an issue. Bella, the lilac girl, was adopted 1.5 years ago, and later the owner got a blue female kitten from us. There have not been any problems till the younger one got into her first heat at 6 months of age.

"Bella and Luna have been best friends, giving each other bathes, playing, getting along so well and just loving each other. Yesterday afternoon, suddenly out of nowhere, they got into a bad fight. Bella was the attacker. I separated them, gave them Rescue Remedy, alternated petting them and sprayed some pheromones around.

I'm wondering if this is because Luna is in heat for the first time. If so, I planned on waiting until she's a year for spaying, but might have to do it sooner.
You have lots of experience... what do you think?"

I gave all advice I could, the owner did a lot of work, and I was happy to hear the cats are fine now.

"Hi, I hope all is great! I want to update you, to let you know the girls are doing well.
I did energy work with Bella, got her an acupuncture treatment for some stuck emotion, got some great homeopathic / essence remedies, learned how to break the pattern etc.
I took the gates down over a week ago. They have been back to playing and enjoying each other like before. Thank you, have a wonderful day!!"

This is the kind of people I look for when choosing new owners. Someone familiar with natural remedies and holistic work, who can find and address the root of an issue, not just go to a vet and get meds that cover up the symptoms, physical or emotional. Great work!

One of our graduates, a brown tabby British Longhair female. She was the cutest baby - see her pic from 8 years ago. I called her Maxi. New owners renamed her to Peppercorn. She grew up in a gorgeous cat.

"Adult Cats for Adoption" page is updated with new discounted adoption fee that will last till December 31, 2023. We are looking for new loving homes for these beautiful cats, so if you do not have an adult cat in your house already, and miss a company of a feline friend, consider one or two of our kitties. Looking for a new home for one of our kitties. She is a young adult, about 1.5 years old, a very sweet friendly lilac British Shorthair female. She loves attention, follows you around, and will be fine with friendly dogs.

If you have an adult cat in your house already, note that we do not place our adult cat in a home with another adult cat due to territorial behavior and possible conflicts. Consider getting a young kitten.
