Two kittens are available at Happy Cats Haven shelter in Manitou Springs, CO. They are alley cats, not purebred, but one looks like a lilac, a rare color. They are Sybil and Sterling, bonded pair, $500 for both. Their info is not on their website yet, so you get the first peek. One of the owners who has 2 cats from us recently run into an issue. Bella, the lilac girl, was adopted 1.5 years ago, and later the owner got a blue female kitten from us. There have not been any problems till the younger one got into her first heat at 6 months of age.
"Bella and Luna have been best friends, giving each other bathes, playing, getting along so well and just loving each other. Yesterday afternoon, suddenly out of nowhere, they got into a bad fight. Bella was the attacker. I separated them, gave them Rescue Remedy, alternated petting them and sprayed some pheromones around.
I'm wondering if this is because Luna is in heat for the first time. If so, I planned on waiting until she's a year for spaying, but might have to do it sooner.
You have lots of experience... what do you think?"
I gave all advice I could, the owner did a lot of work, and I was happy to hear the cats are fine now.
"Hi, I hope all is great! I want to update you, to let you know the girls are doing well.
I did energy work with Bella, got her an acupuncture treatment for some stuck emotion, got some great homeopathic / essence remedies, learned how to break the pattern etc.
I took the gates down over a week ago. They have been back to playing and enjoying each other like before. Thank you, have a wonderful day!!"
This is the kind of people I look for when choosing new owners. Someone familiar with natural remedies and holistic work, who can find and address the root of an issue, not just go to a vet and get meds that cover up the symptoms, physical or emotional. Great work!

One of our graduates, a brown tabby British Longhair female. She was the cutest baby - see her pic from 8 years ago. I called her Maxi. New owners renamed her to Peppercorn. She grew up in a gorgeous cat.

"Adult Cats for Adoption" page is updated with new discounted adoption fee that will last till December 31, 2023. We are looking for new loving homes for these beautiful cats, so if you do not have an adult cat in your house already, and miss a company of a feline friend, consider one or two of our kitties. Our cats get along with calm and friendly dogs very well.

Looking for a new home for one of our kitties. She is a young adult, about 1.5 years old, a very sweet friendly lilac British Shorthair female. She loves attention, follows you around, and will be fine with friendly dogs.
If you have an adult cat in your house already, note that we do not place our adult cat in a home with another adult cat due to territorial behavior and possible conflicts. Consider getting a young kitten.

The cat show at the Cat Fest is in full swing. We've had a huge number of visitors and they keep on pouring in. Lots of people dressed like cats, wear cat ears or cat makeup :)
Johnny the cat was so tired by the end of meet and greet. But he was very patient with the fans and the love and admiration they expressed ))) Cat Fest was a fun, successful event. Great energy of true cat lovers concentrated in one spot. People were dressed like cats, had hair bands with cat ears, kids and adults had faces painted as cats! Lots of excitement and ear rubs for cats. I have the fans permission to post their video here.

At our recent cat show my kitten won 1st Best All Breed in Steve Lawson's ring. And then Steve told the story that goes back to Iron Curtain and the time we first met, several decades ago ))) He tells the story every time we are at the same cat show. The memories make us smile. Some of my dear friends, cat people I met from early years of felinology in Russia are still devoted to cats and we keep in touch.
Sometimes you get a free toy from a judge for being a good boy. Hisako Yamada is one of our favorite judges!
First judge, we got 2nd All Breed final! Total kitten count was 28. 2nd place means he won over 26 other kittens in the class.

Our girl, CH Ellis Eliteline of Rejinald was consistently winning today at TICA show. Judge Adriana Kajon: "I have not seen a British Shorthair of this quality, definitely not a British Shorthair FEMALE of this quality, in a long time. Outstanding amazing coat, with incredible plush texture and incredible density, and the pale pearly color is absolutely stunning. Very nicely built, with beautiful head type, 3rd Best, and Best British :" Thank you, Adriana Kajon!
And here's how it is done! Ch Ellis Eliteline of Rejinald took BEST SHORTHAIR CAT today in judge Vickie Jo Harris' ring. Meaning she was the Best shorthair adult cat at the show. Ellis is 13 months old, and she is a girl! "Absolutely fabulous British Shorthair. Her coat is exceptional. She has a lovely body, I love the tail lengh, great boning. Gorgeous balanced head, ears just the right size. Chubby little cheeks, nice profile, gorgeous eyes. Best breed British Shorthair and my best Shorthair cat! " Thank you, Vickie Jo Harris!
