Story time!
Last week, we had a cat-sitting client at a spooky old house. One of our sitters walked in and noticed a strange, black, feathery object lying on the kitchen floor.

Here is what she had to say “My heart sank. To my horror, it looked like a dead bird. I bent down to investigate, and the cat came running and nearly pounced on the bird! I threw my hands up to stop it when I realized it was a Halloween decoration! A fake bird, complete with realistic feathers and glass eyes. I couldn’t help but laugh!”

Most cats love to play with noisy paper and cardboard boxes - It’s an easy, cheap, and fun enrichment for a kitty. In addition to toys, we also use puzzles and other fun toys (or yard time for dogs that can’t go on longer walks (like puppies and senior doggos)).
